. 2: the cars folow the truck blindly, so if the truck gets of the road, the other cars will do so as well. and my third arguement is : what if the computers get hacked or get a virus? that would be a disaster and cause a lot of lives. So i say, volvo, i would be glasd to hel you guys out and show you ewhat safety really is, because what you are doing is only causing more unsafe situations.

ok, i just get a horrific feeling about this. volvo is suposed to be the safest car company in the wordl. BUT, come on guys even i, a simple motorbike mechanic can see at least 3 major problems with this system. 1: the cars are WAY to close to the truck(even computers cant brake in time if the truck has to pull an emergency stop)

this is great volvo keep up the good work maybe have the computer update with live traffic info to determine if weather conditions are bad or good...if bad put a safety mech that doesnt allow the driver to place in train mode...also have constant connectivy with the car and have a database of live road conditions weather traffic etc..from point A to Point B in which route the driver is going...

Another problem... suppose the lead vehicle exits the freeway, falls asleep, brakes hard, etc... there's too much goin on here to make this a reality.

this is a double edged sword, at one point this is really a breakthrough for advance technology, on the other point this is extremely dangerous and stupid i would never trust anyone getting into one of those volvo trains what if the truck just slams the breaks youre going to have a 10 car pile up, also what about other drivers who have to merge or get off the highway this train is going to cause problems and block their entry/exit
