I dont really think of it as a true "docking station", its more of a port replicator. If you want a good dock that also charges your laptop, get a thinkpad or dell latitude that have dedicated dock ports
If I connect my laptop to a docking station which is connected to an external monitor, keyboard and a mouse:
Would I be able to view item 'A' on the external monitor and item 'B' on my laptop screen?
Would I be able to use external keyboard and mouse for item 'A', and laptop's keyboard and touchpad mouse (or may be another external mouse connected to my laptop) on item 'B'?
its no different from having all your devices plugged into a usb hub and then just connecting the USB hub and monitor to the Laptop as needed.. its still only 2 connections.. I bet this thing costs like $200 or something

u could use this for a desktop too. so if u need to remove ur computer constantly, it would be way easier.
or if u buy 2, u could use the one at home and one for another setup.
wtf am i saying? lol its a piece of crap that u dont need haha

just an updated KVM switch. now if they added a port for video recording then that wouldve been sweet. Or added RCA cable inputs for video recording!

Try $69.99 after rebate. Not bad! Cables to Go is at the top of their game, no doubt.
