those are all over the NC triad area, ALWAYS making threes... you cant see them in the city, but out in the country you can see them, literally every night, when we were in high school, we looked with binoculars thought they looked like disco balls...Brown Mt. is the highest point in the state...as in "The Brown Mt.Lights" ive lived in NC forever, seen those my whole life, you got a nice flyby. those are rare. cool.
I just wanted to let you know I have seen the exact same thing near Asheville NC, and at my friend's house, we can watch them every night. They look exactly like this, and sometimes they form a ring and spin together. It's so bright, sometimes my friend's house lights up. He bought a $2000 telescope to investigate, and the lights look like prisms. It was the weirdest, creepiest thing ever.
