biofuels are a waste. They are not efficient and cause more pollution problems than any other energy source. However, the farmers are making tons of money as their corn is used for foreign biofuel export. Likewise, their representatives in Washington who understand the value of a vote, will do everything in their power to keep it going, otherwise feel the wrath of midland America at the voting booth. So, food prices go up and shortages loom on the horizon..

here's why fuel prices will never go down: 1) China has an insatiable thirst for oil, 2) U.S. Oil companies have consumers by the balls and will drag their feet in creating more refineries or tapping new fields, 3) U.S. politicians benefiting from oil companies will look the other way until prices hit $6 a gallon, then they will push legislation and get it back down to $3 to make themselves and their friends in the oil business look like heroes, 4) oil speculators on Wall St., nuff said.
