Rock's always been around. Most of what we hear nowadays is just bad and overproduced. Mainstream shit like Papa Roach and Avenged Sevenfold. Kids need to look into underground metal bands.
A lot of genres can be heard in commercials and sound tracks nowadays.. But it still ain't the same if it's just part of the soundtrack.

Yet they, for some reason, have Kurt Cobain Ahead of Carlos Santana...I literally went WTF!!! It really surprised me and to be honest, that list made me see that Rolling Stone doesn't know shit about music, they're still stuck with their bogus Beatlemania and swear the 60's were awesome, it's not the 60's anymore so get over it!!!

Neither Slash, nor Van Halen, didn't bring anything new to music. Only speed up...that's all they're good at...fast, crazy solos. with enough practice anyone can play as fast as Slash. That list was all about the feel of the music, that cames out of the guitar...

Wait...in the first part of this interview, Slash called Ratt and Poison gay. In this part of the interview, he said that it was awesome going on tour with Motley Crue...Motley Crue is worse than Poison!

van halens good and all, hes fast and good ryhthm but the finger tapping is kinda the lazy way to learn guitar. ive covered a few of his songs and the finger tapping only takes me a little while to get.
van halens awesome but i prefer slash. hes the best player in my opinion he has a style that is unmatched.......but so does vh

I remember I used to have this old concert flyer of The Cult in my bedroom when I was around 20 years old. I was a fan of The Cult. On that same flyer was Guns N' Roses---I didn't know who they were at the time. A few months later I heard Guns N' Roses all over the radio. Then I noticed the flyer one day and realized...damn, that's Guns N' Roses, dude!

Wait...in the first part of this interview, Slash called Ratt and Poison gay. In this part of the interview, he said that it was awesome going on tour with Motley Crue...Motley Crue is worse than Poison!
Plus, Ratt's guitarist is better than Slash--people are just to close-minded to realize that.
Also, many country guitarists, including Brad Paisley, Brent Mason and even Keith Urban, are so much more talented than Slash! People are just too dumb to open up their mind to something new!

I mean, I've seen clips of Slash soloing live and it wasn't nearly as good as when I've seen Ratt live. Not only is DeMartini much better than Slash, but Ratt's drummer is also much better than Guns N' Roses's drummer...many refuse to realize how overrated Guns N' Roses is though.
