  • I'm sorry, but this attitude of 'me and my own above others' is what we, as humans, have transcended. It's animalistic, and as you say, we aren't animals. We should think of others. The problems in the world today are mostly the result of selfishness and apathy. You are justifying the superiority and dominance of some over others. Yes, worrying less about your day to day troubles is good, but instead of thinking of nothing, you should think of the wider picture, of society, and humanity.

  • Well Done!

  • master your chi

  • Awesome work!

  • I like this message very much; beautiful thoughts and emotion but I would consider replacing the music at the end with something more subtle. Its to emotionally leading and the violin melodies are out of tune.

I think this change would create a fuller immersion into your words.

(opinion not asked but thought given)

  • Deep

  • the person who speaks that mad truth..!! hook up with joe rogan for a historic podcast!

  • Thank you for this

  • Interesting but I think much of what he's pointing towards has been taught by Buddhism and Christian mysticism for centuries. Let go, free your mind, simplify, live in the moment, allow wonder and awe.

  • thank you

  • I saw this first thing this morning...touched me ....beautiful...but yet I m frustrated as to what to do..I don't know what to do...there is sooo much I would like to do.Our society saddens me.My sanddens is slowly leading me towards a misanthropic view.I want to think ,explore, create and give myself to the universe. But I can't even break through the boundaries. How does one let go of the mind? How can once think of humannity when you can't help yourself?

  • @laureeenful Ur absolutely right. U won’t be able to help humanity until u help urself. Think of ur future first and only then of others. It’s good that people like u exist. Thank u for being the way u r :')

  • @DorgabekovMunir Thank you!

  • a beautiful leap forward... thank you :)

  • Enjoy now, work for the future, let your love and idealism enhance the mystery, accept problems, find solutions, have hope, have a goal, have the ability to put it aside and breathe. Live all eight all at once, no?

Bad grammar aside, am I getting this? Since there will allways be problems, the left brain can never rest, and the right must create and love and enjoy anyway. The left brain can lead to mystery and the right can stand under it. How does one let go of the mind?

  • I cannot believe this is not a youtube hit. Its nice to know there is people out there that feel the same as me.

  • Lies... Gotta be a joke! Right?

  • Zeigeist Movement is an Answer for Christianity . Sadly, Islam shows this was/is all a lie a sad Joke by something you simply do not know. Called, The Dajjal. Or simply put who are not Muslim, They call it, The Freemasons. This video is a joke, Just 1 Mans ignorance filled with Music to grab emotion. Think. Or Better yet, Read. This man is teaching you to ' be yourself ' :) Let go :) Is this the real answer behind life ? Nice emotion music to grab your emotion ? : ) Read .
  • You sound like Jordan Maxwell

  • Beautiful video. So much to be inspired by. Values level seven leading us into a new earth. Thank you for creating this, every school kid should get a chance to view. robyn@wealthofmind.co.nz

  • Most beautiful words, video I ever saw! Congrats!

  • There is infinite emptyness inside very person. We try to fill it with inventions. knowledge, power, and love.... but it can never be filled.... thats the irony of everyones life...

  • @DorgabekovMunir May I recommend Prozac as an aid in being able to fill the emptiness, it has helped some of my friends who felt the same way. After all, if there is no plug in the bottom, a bathtub can never be filled. Give it a chance, if your brain chemistry won't give you one. Good luck, my friend :)

  • @AziraphaleDB Thanx:))) I'll try it)))

  • How does this only have 9 thousand views....fuck this world.

  • This is "Be Here Now" from Pre-1971...rewritten.. Thought you'd be saying something new and improved.

[At least it isn't "Be Somewhere Else Now", which I see Lawrence Ferlinghetti said on a NY Time interview about the now generation of Cell phones, etc.]

  • Wonderful message and an excellent creation.

  • Love this one too... very thought provoking :)

  • Whoa, deep shit man.

  • Thank you!!! Such a sad fact it doesnt have as much views as it deserves.People need to wake up.

  • Can't believe this video isn't more viewed. One of the most beautiful videos I've ever had the pleasure of viewing. Thank you.

  • Absolutely Awesome!! Thank you brother!

  • I am sure it has a great deal of positive impact on a lot of people who have been seeking....I lost count of how many times I watch the video in a week! :D :D I dont think I can ever get bored of such a beautiful message! <3

  • Everytime I watch this video, it brings tears to my eyes with all the realizations. And the music is so touching, I get goosebumps by the end of the video! Thankyou so much for making this!

  • @abzz00 Thanks for such warm and generous feedback! I'm glad this video could have such a positive impact.

  • Interesting...oh if only there were proof to know that kind of exact information from so long ago

  • Fabulous piece, bravo!

  • Hey John, thanks for joining me on Zeitgeist: Moving Inward this week. You and others can listen to and download the interview at zeitgeistmovinginward[dot]com. Be well . . . Manny

  • Excellent. You are helping to define the paradigm shift, the shift needed to create survival for an insane species, one with a great and wondrous peaceful prosperous eco-harmonious future, if it just changes the way it thinks, individually and collectively.

  • AMAZING!

  • And so at the end of this long road, humans find the true value of life is the mystery and the true enjoyment can only happen now.

  • global economic, planetary, and humanistic level they end up surrending yet again to a mystery more subtle and more profound than they'd ever imagined. Life turns from a problem to a poem, and that deep yearning for beauty becomes an all encompassing quest to surrender to the moment and all that it has to offer. All the left-brain thinking and figuring out can't ever replace the shear mystery of being alive.

  • A world view of someone who has the faith to let go of the mind and still feel connected to life, and has the courage to use their wits in the service of life harnessing the sun and nature's intelligence to recreate the systems of our capitalistic world. And these people become proud innovative problem-solvers, affluent in ever dimension of life. And it's a beautiful leap forward ... a leap for beauty. Once people become affluent with form, creating solutions that work on a

  • with it, and yet still despite the beauty despite the emotion despite the non-dogmatic spirtuality once agin a shift has started to take place. Because people operating from this idea of the world is one big family are sorely disappointed to realize that this family isn't getting along. The ice caps are still melting, the species are being depleted. The oceans are getting poisoned. The powerful rich few are still ruling over the have-nots but through multinational conglomerates.

  • There's a dawning painful realization that prosperity and abundance did not create the happiness we were seeking. a fresh question enters, that is:

What is happiness and where can I get it if it's not in this world? And so the turn from materialism becomes a turn towards human beings, so we see around 1900 in this country the beginning of this humanistic world view which blossom full force in the 1960s with the civil rights movement and all the colorful paraphenalia associated

  • And the industrial revolution leading to the mass distributions of goods and services around the globe instantaneously so even today the comforts that we enjoy as we go from work to home and beyond, many of them were born out of this creative, individualistic worldview which worships power, success and affluence and yet for those of us lucky enough to have tasted the fruits of this innovation and prosperity, it seems that something deeper once again calls for our attention.

  • . And so we see around 15-1600 the rise of the Scientific Method, and Arts and Education flourishing. Creativity bounding and exploding in ways that had never before been seen. An ability to think outside the traditions of religious dogma, we see the birth of the renaissance and free thinking in which man used his own wits to try to figure out life on his own merits and through that, innovations flourished.

  • And so out of this yearning was an existential vaccuum filled with the desire for purpose which has never been seen before. And from that, we see around 3000-4000 BC the rise of major monotheistic religions all around the globe: heaven, hell, right, wrong concepts that before didn't even exist became the dominant way that humans made sense of the world around them. The idea of life as a battle shifted to the idea of life as a test.

  • And so legions of young rebellious tribes people set out to create empires of their own and we see the rise of vast dictorial authoritarian regimes based on a "might makes right" mentality and yet for people living in these societies this yearning for meaning surfaces once again. For 'the haves', the problem was: "Well, I've got everything, now what? I'm still a human bound to die."

For 'the have-nots', the problem was: "Well, I'll never have the indulgences of kings ... so what's the point?"

  • Then around 38 thousand BC, something shifted. A radical new idea entered the mind of human beings, early man started to feel him and herself as seperate from nature, something different. And out of this sense of seperation came this urge to control nature and to get into good graces with these unseen Gods operating behind the scenes. And so we see the rise all around the globe of these tightly knit tribal cultures organized around very strict rules and rites.

  • Imagine being a human in the year 200,000 BC; your body would've been pretty much just the same way it is today genetically, but your mind would've been looking at the world in a completely different way. No telephones, no cellphones, no ipods, no books, no written language, your experience of the world was one of drives: the drive to eat, the drive to sleep, the drive to procreate. For about 160,000 years it seems this was the dominant way of being a human being.

  • A very touching and inspiring film. As more and more people become acutely aware of our history, of our place in the cosmos, and of the methods with which we derive this information, so too does the need for a revolutionary system of global interconnectedness and cooperation become more and more apparent. We need the Resourced Based Economy and we need everyones help! -Peace

  • The next step is using all we have to provide for EVERYONE. The best ideas for saving this rock come from The Venus Project, the Zeitgeist Movment, and groups just like them. Please help yourselves. I'm sick of living this way, it's gotta stop.

  • beautiful and inspiring, thank you John. We're surfing the tip of a giant evolutionary wave which could crest as an great shift in global consciousness. Buddha emerging as culture and community... imaginal cells uniting to transform the caterpillar into a butterfly. But our collective systemic challenges are daunting, and we'll only make it if we connect and inspire together. As Jean Houston put it, "we're either the world's cancer cells or the world's neurons." Love, gratitude & blessings.

  • we are fucked up that's all

  • Could you please tell me the title of the song at the end of the video? It's beautiful.

  • @vsik32 was composed specifically for this piece by a talented composer named Chris Bickler. thanks.

  • Thanks to all of your for your comments. I had fun making this film and am glad to see that it has inspired many of you. We are, indeed, living in a time of tremendous change. Long held attitudes and beliefs are shifting under our feet. I, for one, am comforted to know that it is all part of a larger evolutionary process.
