Respond to this video... I would say go with the Skate banana, also check out the Lib Tech TRS C2BTX - I will most certainly be riding something with a camber rocker combo this season
hey i ride the 2009 (i think) forum youngblood (its got a blue nose that could be like orange or green) and the green bottom, i am getting a new board over the summer and i was looking for a rocker with about the same flex as it ..i looked at the k2 parkstar and LIKED that but i wana look at more of a range of the same stiffness as the youngblood but rocker version. can you help me find the right board to fit my style ( i hit about 20 foot kickers ,street, and park.)
@skidman23 I would say the Destroyer is the better board. It has higher grade laminates and the Swingers Club is going to make the board really great for freestyle kind of riding.
@thehouseboardshop I've been looking EVERYWHERE for the 2010 forum destroyer chillydog in a 154 or even a 152 and i cant find one anywhere. But i have noticed one on thehouse website thats a 154 WIDE. Ive never ridden a wide because my boot size is only a 9 so its not exactly made for a wide board. Pretty much what i am asking is, should i just go for it and get the 154 wide, even though i wear a size 9 boot or should i just forget about the chillydog and go for the regular destroyer in a 154?
@smk786x Hmm.. you know normally I would say not a chance, don't do it, you're crazy, especially with a size 9. But really the wide doesn't actually seem to be that "wide" at all. It's actually about right... even for a size 9. You should be looking for waist width around 25 cm and the Destroyer Wide is 25.3. I would say that's a safe call. Go for it
@thehouseboardshop i am 180 cm and 165 pounds. should i go with the 152 or 154? because am rather slim: would i maybe go better with the youngblood chillydog? i ride park 50%, slope 40%, powder 10% and love park and ground tricks as well as speed... thanks a lot!
@fw016 The Youngblood is an incredibly popular board, it comes highly recommended, especially for mostly park riding. Normally I would recommend the 154 to you, but if you're going to get the Youngblood get the 152 because that board was designed to be ridden shorter. If you decide to go a different direction stick to around a 154, but for the Youngblood get the 152.
@hockey833 if ur gonna be doing a lot of jibbing go for the reverse camber, it will be a lot funner in powder too. The only thing regs camber has on reverse is the stability
nice thank you for your help...one more question...if im going to be doing 50 50 with park and free riding should i go with this board or the 2011 youngblood?
@yanksfan918 They're both pretty in the middle and could both handle the entire mountain. The Youngblood is just a hair more on the freestyle side. Either way I would probably go with the Destroyer.
im selling my burton mayhem and deff buying this board. this board is siiick!!...just want to know if you have this board in those same graphics? and im 5 10 165 and i do both park and free ride just want to know what size i should go with for this board and if i have large bindings do i need to get this board in wide?
@yanksfan918 I would probably go with the 156 and to be on the safe side a wide really would be better for you. On the Destroyer the wides aren't actually that much wider, but it will be what you need to cut out that toe and heel drag.
is this board better than the youngblood chillydog? im in the park hitting rails and hitting jumps most the time. also ride the moutain some. which is better.
@brwadabrown43 I would have to go with the Destroyer. They are both amazing park boards, but the Destroyer is going to be better for the rest of the mountain.
i'm thinking about getting the destroyer or the youngblood. which should i get? i like to mess around in the park but i also like all mountain riding too. what would you say?
im 6'0, size 10-11 US shoe, 170 pounds. im not sure whether i should getting the 156, the 156W or even the 158. i like alot of freeriding also which is why im heading towards a generally longer board. which should i be getting?
i have a size 12 boot and i like to do alot of boxes and rails. iv been trying to decide between the forum destroyer chilidog or the rome machine which one would be better for me?
Hey im 6,2 about 165 pounds and i like to ride alot of rails boxes and also do jumps i was considering buying this board in a positve camber or getting next years youngblood but i know this ones is stiffer can u compare the two
@thehouseboardshop okay and how is the added stiffines in the destroyer going to affect my riding compared to the youngblood which is softer cause i know most park boards are pretty soft
It's average for a board of its performance and flex. It's going to be heavier than you standard rail and box board because its has a thicker core profile and more support.
hello!! need some help here , im 184ish pounds i have a boot size of 11 and im 6 feet tall and i dont really know what size to choose , 156-156w or 158 ?
