  • Great video but quoting the Declaration of Independence as the " Constitution" is... too often confused. It is a symbol, A Declaration that has no power accept as a symbol.

  • When I read all the ugliness and hatred written on YouTube comments, it turns my skin cold and hard sometimes. But once and a while someone will post a video that generates good will and hope. A video will appear that reminds us that we can rise above our evil. You have succeeded in this TheGungHoFilms. God bless you always sir.

  • Thank you Young man for taking the time to do research and share this letter with myself. I commend you for taking the time to do what you did and We all need to remember what it takes for us to be a better human being. God Bless You Mr. GungHo

  • BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!

  • january 15th is the real REV. DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING jr.

  • in a way his fight for civil rights was turned into a propaganda plot from higher officials to make minorities dependent on government. A good idea and movement got molded into a big cash making machine for bureaucracy that led a psychological, financial, and social attack on ourselves. such as FEMA, and other useless government agencies. so its sad tat anything positive you give to the world you have weird people trying to cash inane make it a financial opportunity for themselves. lol :(

  • I enjoyed your video. Your narration flowed and was easy to listen to. Great cadence. Your backdrop music selection set a nice tone. Good job!

  • The narrator mentioned that America WAS flawed in the 1960s. Let me say that many gains have been accomplished in America including the abolition oof slavery, Black Codes, segregation, Jim Crow and the inclusion of Public Accomodaton Laws, voting laws, civil rights laws ,and women's rights laws but in 2011 some of the same issues have reappeared: Attack on

Voting Rights, Women's Rights. public school desegregation, health care access and public accomodations laws, to name a few. Wake up!

  • @nett1947 The narrator was also a 13 year old 8th grader who put this up on YouTube in order to be played in class. Not for educational purposes. This was an opinionated paper of course, but that was the requirement. I would like to challenge YOU to 'wake up', because pre-Letter to Birmingham Jail, all of those 'accomplishments' of the 1960's were the very adversity to progress in the United States. Also, slavery was abolished much before 1960. Do your research.

  • @TheGungHoFilms whoa chill!!! Nett1947 was not criticising the video, but just saying America is still flawed. I hope you're not the teacher.

  • Great video! keep up the good work. Thanks =)

  • estos vídeos deberían subirlos en español o simplemente subtitulados

  • why is it that rednecks are always considered the racist ones??

  • @MsLittlemisslady with what proof do you base your statement? A racist is generally identified by his/her actions, whether he he is white, red or brown. To mistreat someone as inferior based upon color and some preconceived notion that you are superior, is wrong. And, what actions makes a person a 'redneck'? that alone sounds demeaning.

  • good job!

  • KURFUU.COM

  • He was a great man but he risked his life for all of his follouers who ever killed he is a dumb person alot of people love him his wife and his children were in the house when it was bomed his spech I HAVE A DREAM touched every one

  • Thank you.

  • 3 racist rednecks didn't like this

  • Excellent!

  • this was very well worded and an over all excellent essay/video you did.

    5/5 stars!

  • @dwightfc I couldn't see on this video who you are refering to. But I do know who was on the same stage as MLK on that I have a dream speech. He even gave a speech himself on that day but he wasnt as popular as MLK. He was a personal friend of MLK and is credited as being one of the co-founders with MLK as a father of the civil rights movement. His name is John Lewis He is currently a democratic congressman in Georgia.

  • Great Job!!!

  • THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU

i hope you dont mind but i would liek to show this as part of my project!

    ill drop you name
