I typically walk...and reside right in the center of this fine city....Traffic induced smog threatens MY quality of life.....and negative energy spurned from angry and entitled bicyclists.
This can work, sometimes, but California is a big place. I feel the real solution to traffic congestion is light commuter rail, which no big interest wants to let happen. As for zero smog, electrics are coming along, slowly but surely, in time.
Getting stuck in traffic is the price a person pays for living in a big city. I don't like California at all but I will move there for work. Choices? The only one I made was a career choice. With that comes a lot of givens that I must deal with.
Explain to me how creating a mega-traffic jam helps SF with it's smog crisis.

@casunray here (not SF) cars create mega-traffic jams EVERY DAY.
