I love watching your thought process when making a painting. please make more videos like this. your painting style is very amazing! I was wondering what kind of white and lighter colored paint you were using beacuase it covered the darker colors very easily. The paint that i use could never cover as well as your seems to.

@YaMeGirl101 thank you. The paints i use are liquitex softbody acrylics...they cover really nice over darker areas....i love them!!! give them a try...you can buy them at any art store.

Ahhh, I wish I could have this devil-may-care attitude when it comes to my paintings. I'm usually really meticulous, detail oriented, I couldn't imagine just jumping into a painting like you did and making it work. I guess I should try it, play some music and draw whatever-the-heck? Thanks for posting these videos by the way~ :D

when you told about your inspirations I laughed, those are the exact same people I´m inspired by. You and me do have similar way of drawing though, the idea develops while your drawing it. I paint waaay different though :P I did try a painting similar to your style once though. I´m 17 now and I´m in artschool right now. Did you have an education or did you teach yourself? (even though in the end you obviously Always teach yourself :P) Greetings from the Netherlands! :D

@mafiamitzy awesome! yes i did go to art college for 3 years, however I was always focused on creating art and making it my own. It's a life time of developing...Just finding new ways to express the things that have been done before...challenging but well worth it.

@MegaMusic110 yes, like my teachers used to say to me...Once the canvas is covered in paint, then the painting is ready to begin working on....layers and details and more layers etc etc etc...lol

great video! very inspiring...i will have to try some of those painting techniques. I like how you paint the dark colours in first and then work up to the really bright highlights...they look like neon lights!

where can i buy canvas paper? i can only seem to find board! but i really like what you use. and do you have to buy it in sheets or can you buy a roll of it?

@Picabean i get mine by the roll through ebay...do an ebay search for canvas materials or unstretched primed canvas roll etc... you can get it in various sizes too... make sure it's triple primed cotton canvas, so it's ready to paint when you get it. hope this helps.

Any chance you can do a timelapse of you painting just using black and white, like a couple of the ones you have on ebay. They're really effective! :)
