Can anyone find the scottish commentary to this game. I was 8 when i watched this game. very tense night. The Welsh players reaction after scoring. All ran back to the centre circle. The pen would still be given today.
I'm a Rangers man and can admit Big Jocks the BEST manager ever!!! Plus, i attended the Clydebank v Rangers game 3 days later and the minutes silence was brilliant and the Gers fans chanted 'Jock Stein' throughout the game. I remember the respect given to Big Jock then.....and the sadness on Davie Coopers face..... Big Jock RIP
I was at the game and it's a great memory in Cardiff during the day prior to the game ,great atmosphere in the autumn sunshine during the day then on to the stadium at night.
After the game headin away from the ground i also remember the single ambulance ,siren blaring, fighting it's way through the crowd heading towards the stadium ,little did i know then it was for Jock Stein.
We didnot know until we got back to our digs in Tonypandy that jock had died .
rip jock and davie

I'm Scottish but the penalty wasn't fair on Wales.

@Noodles37UK Thanks for that- yeah, Wales came so close so often to qualifying- and twice penalties for Scotland!
