  • WOW,this song is amazing!!!

    PRIEST ROCKS\m/

And also the version with MetallicA at anniversary of 30 years is awesome\m/

  • Great song but crowd looks dead

  • British Fuckin Steel!

  • son dioses !!! |m| lo mejor lejos la mejor maldita banda del mundo ! judas priest ! es inmortal ! .i.

  • LONG LIVE THE PRIEST!

  • Judas priest is metal god

  • Amo esta banda, heavy metal hasta la muerte!

  • Incredible performance. I love the Live in Anaheim performance too! if you haven't seen that one, check it out. That whole Show just like live insurrection was unbelievable! When Rob is on he's on, and when he is it's monsterous. His name was well earned when they named him the Metal God. Rob! I'm still waiting for my chance to Join you onstage like Bret Kaiser got to at Desperado's in 1991. It would be worth a flight to Mpls. :)

  • i dislikes this song 'cause was visited for a Justin Gayber's fan

  • Yes this kick's forking' ass!!! Heavy as hell, especially the last minute or so. JP knows how to do it!

  • Yes, this is a kickass version. Confirmed.

  • kk rules.

  • Seeing these guys Saturday, last show in America!

  • Oh for fuck's sake, halford is 1,000,000 years old, can barely move anymore, the scream at the end is ridiculous, CALL IT A NIGHT BOYS!

  • @JohnDoe66669 It was a grow he doesn't usually use this technique but i am sure he wanted to do it now.I think the vocals, guitars, bass and drums were perfect on this gig.

  • I was art this show in Hollywood Florida, and just saw then again in San Diego and then in San Bernandino!!!!!!!! FUCKING AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Seeing them tonight! Also, this song has always sounded better live...

  • @Xerosnake90 all jp songs are better live... :)))))))

  • @HerraMike You're telling me. Youtube videos don't do any priest songs live. I was headbanging all show!

  • @Xerosnake90 This sounds like crap compared to live, and that's saying something cause this is awesome

  • SEEING THEM TOMORROW

  • @ThisPerfectKaos I see we have a troll in our midst, and a particularly stupid one at that. Just remember that metal wouldn't be anywhere without priest, and priest wouldn't be anywhere without halford.

  • This is the greatest Priest song to me. I love every second of it!

  • JP - The Fathers of Speed Metal

  • bringing leather back !

  • Fuck, I knew I should have gone to this show.....

  • For some reason one of my all time favorites!

    The Judas Priest are go!

And Rob and the guys annihilate the uninverse.

  • @kickniko because it is class

  • @antoofcil

    Certainly!

  • 0 dislikes! It proves that this is the best song!

  • You talk shit about Rob Halford and you listen to metalcore which is waaay more gay than rob. Go back to masturbating to your gay metalcore and lamb of shit videos. Priest is not priest without Halford. If you don't like rob halford then stop posting stupid-ass comments and go back to listening to faggots. And just because Iron Maiden and Judas Priest are my two favorite bands because they make actual music, unlike the shit you listen to, doesn't mean that they are the only bands I listen to.

  • @ThisPerfectKaos Go fuck yourself closed minded asswipe. You don't know shit about metal. Rob Halford and the rest of Judas Priest is the reason why most metal bands exist today. It doesn't matter if he's gay, unless your looking to hook up with him or something, which apparantley you are since you even give a fuck.

  • @ThisPerfectKaos well, you are really pathetic, you lowlife scum. and in terms of gayness - the ones from deadlock along with some other bands you mentioned on your profile look a lot more gay than rob has ever looked. the music is also pretty crappy, i call it NWoAFMCTPTBA. new wave of assfucking metalcorish crap that pretends to be ambitious.

  • @ThisPerfectKaos You know that making fun of Rob's homosexuality will bring you a shitload of negative replies. Then does your search for attention make you pathetic? I THINK YES!!!

  • JUDAS PRIEST are my METAL GODS

  • Please could some wise human tell me how can this video hav 45 345 views , if justin biebers baby ( REALLY ANNOYING SONG!!! ) have more than 500 000 000 views.. in my opinion youtube have made a mistake and really this video have 500 000 000 and justin bieber 45 000 ;)

  • 252 people like this metal gods. THUMBS UP IF YOU THINK JUDAS PRIEST IS METAL BAND Of 21century

  • Saw them again at Graspop. they opened with this and Metal Gods. absolutely brilliant. Metal Gods indeed

  • I like how Tipton gives a finger during chords to all metal haters haha x)

  • 232 likes, 0 dislikes! Hell yeah!

  • Rob Halford is 58 here!!! Gods.

  • Heavy Metal: Black Sabbath invented it and Judas Priest brought it to the absolute perfection.

  • Metal is my religion, Judas is my priest.

  • It's a pitty for KK. These are the last tours and the world must see the PRIEST in their original line up. I'll be there anyhow Athens,Greece, July the 5th.

  • killer!

  • Don't ask me why, but this is my favorite song while mowing the lawn.

  • Fuck yes!!! My favorite song from the album!!

  • THIS IS GREAT

    I FUCKING LOVE JUDAS PRIEST

    BEST HEAVY METAL BAND EVER!

  • This is like the most PHENOMINAL live version of Rapid Fire, they sound like Motorhead \m/ ><\m/

  • IT SUCKS THAT KK IS LEAVING PREIST HES FUCKING AWSOME!!!

  • @JAAM013 what!!..hes leaving??whats that!!

  • @uwique yea he announced hes retiring

  • Thumbs up if you always wanted glenns suit lol

  • @cliffthelightning Yes, buahaha. I will make one copy... i hope so.

  • @cliffthelightning i want his job lol

  • SIMPLY THE BEST!!!!,,thats right,,,second to none!

  • @uwique second to nnnooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooonnne!!!! :)

  • @rigovalenz any word of tour dates in the states??

  • SIMPLY THE BEST!!!!

  • Hell bent for Denim \,,,/

  • simply the best!

  • Nobody dislikes Priest. Go figure, this is awesome!

  • I like Scott because he is the complete package on old school tech drumming. His hands are as skilled as his feet. I liked Dave, but think Scott is better in every way. But I do think Dave was excellent; his style was curbed as Priest went in a different direction drum wise in the '80's. He was a wizard in the early '70's, so I'm not knocking him.

  • Охуенно, по-другому и не скажешь!

  • Kickass Drummer !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Rapid Fire killz the haters!

  • I was at this concert and Eddie Trunk from That Metal Show was there at the start of the show trying to get the crowd to chant PRIEST PRIEST PRIEST and the crowd was so dead I cant believe they made this dvd in south florida

  • PRIEST is second to NONE!!!!

  • Bring Back Les Binks!!111!!1!

  • This album was one of our food groups when I was a teenager.

Played incessantly with the speakers outside our house on our quaint street in Thunder Bay - declaring to the world that 1980 was the year of Heavy Metal.

    From Canada, with Love !

  • Very interesting comments regarding Dave Holland/Scott Travis. But let's face it - what we see here is the best possible Priest lineup. So the absolutely classic Priest era is RIGHT NOW! Luckily for us :-)

  • Except Dave would rather have his hands on a quadrapelegic boy in a wheelchair than behind the kit. That where Travis helps out.

  • I think Dave Holland could get into a groove, and fucking out rock everyone. I however, think he was alot more limited then say Les binks, or Scott Travis who are both much more consistent and technical drummers. all three are good, the later two are my preferance though as far as Priest drummers go.

  • the dugga dugga dugga duggga part is def origin of speed metal along with

    punk rock shit

  • what does someones criminal record have to do with how good a musician he/she is?, courts/juries/judges have been wrong before, its like discussing pro wrestling, talking about the best performers, mention Chris Benoit and some idiot says " he killed his family", why can't some people just look at someone for their talents

  • metal god!!!

  • Whats wrong with u guys?? FUCK Dave holland is a pedophile!! Les Binks was the best drummer priest ever had, Oh yeah FUCK dave holland faggot

  • Effing Priest!

  • one of the first speed metal songs, right up there with Motorhead.

  • @scheissdrek speed metal ? this is fucking slow

  • @scheissdrek Call for the Priest, Tyrant, Exciter, Hell Bent For Leather, there are a lot of songs that could be considered as the first ones

  • I'll agree with that, I think Scott's a pretty awesome drummer, but I just wish he'd take more liberties, do some of the crazy things he clearly can do but never does.

  • YEAH!!!!!!!!COME T GERMANY!!!!

  • Musically, yes, this kicks ass, but Halford has lost it totally. He can't scream at all anymore and his vocals have seriously degenerated. Maybe in his prime he was the Metal God, but these days he just doesn't have it any longer, and it makes me sad to say this, contrary to what you all may imagine. It grieves me to say so, in fact. I discovered JP in 1983 with "Screaming for Vengeance", so I've got some room to talk, here, I think.

  • @KamenRiderNecro yea he lost a step or two but i would rather have this than nothing at all but for 60 he still a whole lot better than i could ever dream of being long live the metal gods.

  • @KamenRiderNecro FUCK.......HUUUUUUUUGGGGHHHHHH!!!!

  • @KamenRiderNecro That's not true he fucking 60 years old and he still sounds amazing.

  • @KamenRiderNecro Mate, sad, but I agree re Halford. Seen them on EVERY UK tour since '77 and until the 90's, he was as good as it gets. His vocal AND physical energies have deteriorated year by year IMO. I actually enjoyed Ripper (and the 2 albums, especially jugulator), his vocals live excellent, his stage presence unfortunately wasn't and he didn't write. Sad to see the band finally split as they were THE metal band that upped the tempo's, innovative with every successive album different!

  • Like a fine wine..

  • i prefer the tim owens version

but the last scream by rob halford is killer!!!

  • heavy metal!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Respond to this video... How about this, Dave is in prison for rape, and Scott is there current drummer. Enough said. And to all u dave lovers, who created the legendary drum intro to Painkiller, SCOTT TRAVIS!!! Oh and judas priest are metal gods!

  • @UltimateWil i thought that got thrown out?

  • Metal Gods....they are Metal Gods.

  • I went to this tour. They were absolutely amazing

  • It's so unbeliavably weird how Rob is struggling with his final C#5 note in this performance, while he easily pulled off F5's and E5's during his latest performances with his solo band. What's happening?

  • @BaptizedinFire

You have to keep in mind that those performances took place 7-10 years ago, and that Rob is pushing 60 next year.

  • @BaptizedinFire it was a long world tour and he is not that young anymore, he's just playing a one month tour with Halford

  • @DavidDavidsonful You're wrong, this was barely a two month tour.

  • This is amazing!

  • I've seen Judas Priest 16 times since 1980 when they 1st Headlined in the US and each time they just kicked the living shit out of me.....Both Dave Holland and Scott Travis are the best drummers that the Priest has ever had Both have Two different Styles as well but the one thing you have to look at is NOW.....They're in there 60's and still kicking the shit out of everyone in Metal.....Judas Priest was the 1st and will always be the 1st 1974 to the present day.....(36 years)

  • @LonnieMark Correction, not all of them are in their 60s. Glenn is...KK is 58. Scott is obviously in his late 40s, not sure about the other two--late 50s I'd assume. But, anyway, you're right about them still kicking all kinds of ass!! Rob sounds amazing, and they're all stil headbanging away! Judas Priest are to metal, as the sun is to light.

  • @tncl85 Yeah I wasn't sure if they were all in there 60's or not? I knew that Scott Travis wasn't....He's the youngest....I took my Niece to this Show and She's big on Metallica and other Dark Metal like Slayer and when she seen this show with me, She walked out of the Arena and Say's "WOW Uncle Lon.....They Fuckin Rocked".....Pfft!!.....LOL....And she's only 19 and has never seen Judas Priest!!!

  • @tncl85 well theyre sure kicking my ass!

  • As a Priest fan since the mid 80's and listening to all of their albums I can say(IMO) that their best creative and most influential music was the pre Dave Holland days. From Sad Wings of Destiny to Hell Bent for Leather they created metal as we know it. Everything after just solidified their status as the leaders of the genre. Holland kept a steady beat especially on Desert Plains but Travis returned them to their roots with his style.

  • @metalcruzer I Agree 100%...but also in (my) reality Priest has NO "BAD" Albums. Just my opinion. :)

  • @MrScottcat No doubt, a down record for Priest is Point of Entry and Turbo but those two records are still better than most bands entire catalogs around at the time.

  • this is crazy. ROCKENROOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

one of the best metal songs ever with the best solo's!!

u picku materinu kako rezuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu aaararrggghg

  • damn, rocks like it was meant to be....

  • Simply the Best in the Business! JP sets the standard and are heavy metal!

  • Judas really rocks best metalband EVER!!!

    Go Gleen Tipton !!!

  • god damnit i live there and i didnt know they came over fuck

  • Sorry, I turned on a bad account ;-)

  • Holland has paid his debt to society by now...bring him back...

  • What's this on my wall? Oh, I know now. IT'S MY BRAINS BECAUSE MY MIND JUST GOT BLOWN!!!! FUCK YEAH!!!!

  • sorry rob but this is one of the few songs that ripper did better than you

  • @deraickripper ya the years

  • Fuck Halfords voice has not changed at all. Long live Priest!

  • It looks as if Glenn's got some vintage leather on, eh?

Cool to see some old school Priest from this show, especially the real deal Judas Priest "Diamonds and Rust"!

    \m/

  • exelent song of judas please up all the concert ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

  • Rapid Fire and Steeler - the only two proper and specific metal songs of "British steel" album.

  • @szymusiek1980 and how about Grinder and Metal Gods? they're awesome metal works!

  • @Logik426 I think that only Rage and Metal Gods are awesome in todays concert versions. It has a lot of power now. Especially Rage - it obtained a fantastic sound of the rhythm guitar in some concerts, what is defiicent on the 1980 album version - it sounds so poorly there. Now also the Metal Gods have excellent bass and power of the guitar riffs in the live version.

Soon I'll sent my strengthened version of Rapid Fire - the most often listened JP song by me

  • Halford in the pantheon of all time great singers.

  • This is a professional release, and compared to bootleg recordings, it reeks of overdubbing, but I couldn't be bothered to care. What a hell of a rendition of such an overlooked song. Now go watch Steeler.

  • @PDXCHawk In defense of my own offense, maybe the recording gear is so good on this video that it just SOUNDS like it was overdubbed. Either way, looking forward to Screaming for Vengeance 30th Anniv!

  • Scott's a way better drummer than that hack Dave. Plus Dave's a piece of shit anyway!

  • @SalaminizerVanski

He may be better with the double bass thing

But Dave is better with the hands... He is more creative, listen to the drums details on Devil's Child or Freewheel Burning.

Also, I like the solid beat that he does, and the timbre of his drums are amazing.

    My opinion...

  • @guitartur He's a fuckin piece of shit pedophile too.-Check out Wikipedia. Even if he wasn't, I still think Scott can drum circles around dave. Compare live versions of Victim of Changes, you'll see what I'm talking about.

  • @guitartur the timbre you hear is Tom Allom's production from British Steel through Turbo.

  • @guitartur I think Dave Holland is better with his feet too. Or rather, has a drumming style i like better. Listen to the original studio version, DH is playing the bass drums more dynamically, varying the power of the strokes (in a controlled way, keeping some kind of "sub-beat" within the double bass beat), while this guy is playing more evenly, more "modern powermetal-ish".

(Sorry for crappy explanations, English isn't my first language.)

DH is probably one of my biggest drumming influences.

  • @guitartur Hate to break it to you, I love Dave Holland also, and agree he is a bit more interesting. However freewheel burning and the rest of Defenders is a drum machine, so you are saying you like the sound of a machine over Scott. Devils child is dave though. Screaming for vengeance is the last studio album with real drums until scott joined. That happened a lot unfortunately. Pyromania from def lep also. Defenders, turbo, ram it down... All Drum Machines. Still love Priest!

    side note,

  • @guitartur les binks was they're best drummer as far as technique goes i reckon, this scott travis dude is good, but his drum beats are pretty boring, mostly all just double bass, les binks did double bass, but he did some pretty creative beats instead of just double bass the whole time

  • your opinion sux and u dont have any base to said what u said

    monron

  • Dave Holland's bassdrums are well and better. Also his hi-hats are in the right places. But here, Scott doesn't do the avail with the plates

  • Don't see Halford using the mic stand hardly ever. Great rendition!

I don't understand why in pretty much all concert videos of Priest that I watch hear on youtube, I can barely hear K.K.'s guitar when he's doing solos and whatnot.

  • @BlackSabbath1776: You can barely hear K.K.'s solos? What about Glenn's lead parts then! His guitar tone is so compressed that it's almost impossible to hear what he's playing at times. Downing's lead sound is ten times louder.

  • @GoldenRatio2

I think Downing's lead is higher up in the mix, but his solos are low. Then with Glenn, his lead is low and his solos are high in the mix. Seems like that to me.

  • Holy Fucking Shit!!!!!!

  • Dave Holland could have done a better job on the drums for this song.

Scott Travis is more focused on the tempos, instead of the beats that this music requires. Listen to the original and you will see of what I'm talking about!

  • @guitartur The only problem is that Dave Holland is in jail for attempting to rape a handicapped kid

  • @guitartur I also preffer Dave Holland, he had more rock feeling in his drumming, more space.

  • @guitartur I'll take Scott Travis any day... Dave Holland is currently in prison for attempted rape of a 17-year-old boy. Unless you think he could do better via satellite from his cell? Dave Holland was nothing more than a session drummer at best. He could keep a beat, basically.

  • @guitartur Scott Travis put his own into this song. I like it way better then the original. They're very tight live. I saw them on this tour.

  • @guitartur

Well 30 years a rockin hard, maybe he wore out a tad. lol.Priest will always have a place in my collection.

  • @guitartur

You're all wrong on this one. Holland is a fine drummer but he can't hold Scott's jock strap as far as raw power goes. I've seen JP live with Binks, Holland, and Travis. Travis brings the band to a whole new level, with much more force and presence. I understand that the signature fills that Holland orignally laid down, are proabably his greatest effort. Why should Travis have to ape his every lick?

  • @Rollo7 I actually agree with all the Holland fans here. Scott is much better technically, has more power etc. But presence, no way. I could make a drum machine sound like him. Holland's sound on British Steel and Point of Entry was really something special, so incredibly organic. But I guess Tom Allom is quite a bit responsible for that sound.

  • @guitartur For my part, I think Scott is the best drummer Priest has ever had. He seems to add a powerful edge to the songs, and he's really tight with the bass and rhythm.

  • @guitartur I agree! I think Scott is a fantastic drummer and all that, and you can say a lot of stuff about Dave Holland's "lifestyre" and mistakes here in life of course, but his drumming was fantastic nonetheless.

Dave left Priest in 1989, due to his father just passed away and he was tired of touring, he had gotten a fright for flying over the years for some reason too.

  • Comment removed

  • @guitartur I always thought Dave pretty boring. Travis' studio version on the "extra" on demolition blows the British Steel effort away by a country IMO. Still feel Les Binks was technically the best though, problem was when I saw him live I couldn't hear him in the mix! Scott's work on Nostradamus shows he can create/play different grooves and rhythms do you not think? I also thought Dave murdered old classics like beyond the realms of death and Victim, Scott did a better job, again, IMO.

  • incredible!.

  • 4:02 SCREAM FAIL!

  • one of the only bands that sound as good (or better) live as they do in the studio.. delivering the goods and then some..
