  • @Sessylius Maybe he or she has a point.

In situations like this when someone has a certain look on their face which may seem inappropriette for the situation, maybe there is something wrong.

  • she is smiling way too much and it's not nervous grinning...why is this a "smiling" issue? Kinda blows her creditbility out tthe window

  • i love lisa ling...the best reporter ever....

  • This is so sad and interesting....

  • I really don't want to sound morbid, what anatomically speaking, what actually happens to the fetus when after 9 weeks you miscarriage?

  • @greedlusthate Generally you expel the embryo and tissue over a period of days (unless you have a D&C) .... not to get incredibly graphic, but that includes uterine lining/tissue, and the embryo which will be grayish tissue. During that time you may or may not save the material for testing to see if there's any cause for the miscarriage. It's a really devastating experience.

  • @yuehej The fetus (starting at nine weeks it is called a fetus) at that point does not simply look like "grayish tissue" when it comes out, it looks like a tiny little baby, but if the placenta (which when it comes out looks like a sticky transparent thing, I'm guessing it was the placenta) is still on the baby the baby can be hard to make out unless you take it off. Very graphic, but trust me, I know, I had a miscarriage without a D&C three years ago. It's horrible.

  • its great that lisa can open up to the ladies like this. she has to feel at ease to talk about this in front of individuals who she co-hosted this show with years ago.

  • i was her doorman--hay lisa!

  • @yogidib is she as nice as she looks?
