  • that movie was awesome and scary

  • Paul verhoeven is an amazing director

  • R.I.P Jerry Goldsmith

  • matchless music

  • This is very much in the same style as Goldsmith's theme for 'Basic Instinct', including the climax at the end which is similar in both respective score's themes. Paul Verhoven directed both movies as well, so I have to believe that he and Jerry Goldsmith had talks concerning the work they did on Basic Instinct and how the qualities in that score could work in 'Hollow Man'. Just a thought...

  • My friends scared of this o-o' I put it on everytime we have a sleep over xD So funny.

  • @PinkSmexoStranger You know what you should do? If you haven't seen it then youtube: One Missed Call Ringtone. Guaranteed to freak the hell out of him :)

  • sounds just like

    GEORGE S CLINTON - BRAINSCAN

  • I f*ckin' love this theme. RIP Jerry, you were the best of the best.

  • jerry goldsmith is similar to john williams, but r.i.p to bernard herrmann aswell.

  • I dident know Jerry Goldsmith done the score for poltergeist, psycho 2, executive decision and along came a spider.

  • @badturkali - Have you seen the film Basic Instinct? Michael Douglas and Sharon Stone, from 1992?

Jerry Goldsmith did the music to that, and the theme to that film sounds soooo so much like this theme. Jerry Goldsmith was so so distinctive.

He was JS Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, Tchiacovsky, Pachebel, Wagner and Berlioz all rolled into one genius film score expert.

  • Typicically brilliant from Jerry Goldsmith.

    R.I.P Jerry.

  • Sounds like the Mummy, don't you think?

  • One starts thinking by hearing this song: "What would I do if I could be invisible?"

  • What an amazing track. This as well as 'What Went Wrong' are my favourites.

  • one the best opening themes i have ever heard in my life very epic :)

  • awesome moive and music

  • awesome theme!

  • This is so strange.

  • @orangeKiller7 - Strange but pretty damn good though right?

  • great music, love this movie

  • This movie was a classic and i don't what anyone says!

  • does anyone know the beginning song to hollow man 2????

  • i thought this movie was pretty good, i liked it as a kid, and i still like it now, i thought kevin bacon played a great villain. the score is great, and fits the movie, the CGI was amazing. there was only about one or two parts that werent so great, but other than that, i thought this was a very entertaining film. definetly shoudl have won an oscar for special effects.

  • Probably the best theme ever written for an Invisible Man.

  • @pietroerperugino Absolutly right! ;)

  • @pietroerperugino Jerry never missed. :))

  • i love this music

    its so creepy haha :D

  • great soundtrack, great movie!

  • This movie could have been a classic wasn't it not for a bad final act. That violent ending seemed out of place. Shame. I was loving it up to then.

  • @antsmarching123 - Wha'? It was violent all the way through! Not just the ending!

  • i like this film

    have it on umd

  • not many people know this movie was nominated for best special effects but lost to the matrix : (

  • Which Matrix did Hollow Man lose to?

  • the first one

  • Actually, the movie lost Best Visual effects to Gladiator in 2000. The Matrix won the previous year 1999.

  • i just remember remember hollow man coming in second or being the runner up for best special effects

  • A lot of people felt that the award belonged to Hollow Man because of all the time and effort they put into it and how real it looked while the only real visual effect they had in Gladiator was the Roman Colosseum.

  • Despite negative reviews, I really, really liked this movie. This movie has the only opening scene that I watch on DVD, for most other movies I just skip past the opening credits.

  • @Castellanos510 i agree it was a pretty awsome opening and its so that movies rarely do them now adays :(

  • @Castellanos510 yup Its a great Movie indeed Great Special Effects too the Injection of the Serum Those Portions were Really Awesome & Kevin Bacon too good

  • This movie was a master pieace when it first came out!
