nah. rhymefest won (he actually won this battle) and there's no disputing it IMO. yeah swann's funny as he always was, but his style, delivery, and the type of lines he used don't sit well; it's too formulaic and obvious, and as rhymefest put it, "i'm freestylin this nigga practiced all year for this." i'm not saying swann wrote the whole shit, cause it's obvious he didn't, but come on now.

Swann had it at first, but just couldn't keep up in the second round, and Fest just found that right scheme late. It wasn't so much the Reuban line, it was the MJG follow up where he looked through the crowd, and followed with the always important "you can't fuck with me, RhymeFest I'm about to make history" and let the judges know he wanted it more.

He was using some premeds, which in my opinion is plenty acceptable. There is nothing wrong with thinking about what you are going to say about the other rappers during their rounds. That is why Swann is walking around looking around while Rhymefest is rapping, and Rhymefest is doing that while Swann is rapping, they are writing a little verse in their head.

However, Rhymefest didn't flip anything Swann said, but Swann did, three times (that Ruben Stuttard flip was lame, he still DID flip it.)
