@fakeness4ever The hook wouldn't get all the way down to the stomach, it'd hook into the inner jaw or lip when the fish spat the bait back out or when he yanks back to set the hook. Actually if you pause it at 1:19 - 1:20, you can see he's hooked him right on the inside of the fish's top lip.

Hey capt.ben i was fishing at St: pete beach outta water there "Mexican Gulf" fishing groupers, we couldnt take up a grouper that wasnt over 2 pounds, and that grouper must be over 2 pounds!! And u say u cant take up these fish? Well i guess this was in 2008, and this commentary is in 201. Could the laws been different between this years?... Im not sure on a exact what fish i was fishing, but it was a grouper. Anyway have a good day, sir. And sorry for my bad english..
