Restoring Your iPhone From A Backup

What the hell do you do if you forget the backup password ? can't find any ''forgot password'' button or any thing.

Have lost everything on my phone because i can't remeber that password :(

wat about if u back your ipod touch ( icloud) example if u loose the same ipod touch how do u restore from back up to u new ipod .

in windows it seems that only the last backup can only be selected as there is no dropdown to choose previous... i want to go to one more backup which was done 3 hours before...

the shit hit the fan for me when i hooked up to update and sync... the contacts were deleted from iphone when synced with gmail contacts....

help... 6 months of contacts info gone!!!!
