@TheBrahimism no, its not.every movement that causes pain should be avoided. yeah i know makes sense, lol simple as that......try something different like crunches or whatever where the arm are not primarly involved... and i dont think push ups are the best way to get great abs, though

What tips would you give to a 14 yr old to get a six pack?? I train everyday and have a good physique but not a six pack a four pack yes but that's not what I want.

Also how do u make your arms look big in normal school shirts????

U aint going to get 6 pack by doing push ups doesnt matter want style you choose, pushups is mainly chest ,triceps brachii muscles and some back. If u want a 6pack the answer is CARDIO alot of it, do the cardio exercise u feel better with be it walking (in a fast pace),running,bicycling or ropejumping just remember do get the heartrate as high as u can and hold it there for atleast 30-60 mins every day and sooner or later the abs is coming ,every person have abs its just under layers of fat.

Get into a push up position and take one hand off the ground and put it flat on your stomach. Feel how tense your stomach muscles are. Your abs are working extremely hard during a push up, just to help you maintain and stabilize this position.
#2, no you don't need a lot of cardio. You need resistance training so you build lean muscle to spike your metabolism. You need short bouts of high intensity interval training - 15 minutes will do. And you need to eat whole, natural foods. The days of 30-60 minute cardio sessions are over!

@ScottColby Finally man, someone who realizes what the "new days" od cardio are! HIIT and Tabata Protocole are the new way to get in and stay in shape. Excellent work, but for the video, you left out some classics like clap and handstand push ups but I learned from this video. Keep it up dude
@bf90rono What, are you kidding me? The abdominals keep you UP, there's no pull from your chest unless you're doing them with your back to the ground.
some of the like the spider man pushup and the stablizing ball push up with tuck really work your abs. so does the mountain climber push up. Other ones such as the upside down kettle bell push up work your abs in stabilizing and would be good for aver a few set of crunches. p.s to scottcolby. good job on replying to comments.
