  • Thats not only real nice, but a work of art! Have a blast driving that one my friend !

  • Holy crap that thing is clean.

  • @Benjaminb46 thanks!

  • TREMORS!

  • is this for sale?????

  • @drew3752 No, sorry

  • I have a 68 J3000, in great condition but needs some extras to improve it. I was wondering where you get your parts from, maybe what websites you are looking at to find them. I have just recently purchased this Jeep at a steal and I am wanting to spruce it up. If you don't mind pointing me in the direction I need to go.

  • @swiftyride Teamgrandwagoneer was a website that I used for anything cab related like weather stripping, glass, ect. All of the body and bed on this was 100% rust free so I never had to look for body panels. Hope this was some help

  • Thats a beaut! I hope someday when I'm done hauling wood with my 66' there is enough of it left to do that with!

  • Is this ur everyday commuter?

  • @swoosh50 No, I put about 700-800 miles on it per year and the GTO gets about 2500-3500 per year. Daily driving duties are covered by my pickup

  • jeep j10

  • @swoosh50 Actually, its a J2000

  • awsome job.!!!!

  • Very cool! What kind of digital dash and seats are those? Thanks.

  • @ss0rca Thanks! The dash was made by Dakota Digital and the seats are from a 2005 silverado

  • I love your truck dude great job. Damn 475hp :O. Not to be out done we have Jeeps sitting at my house including a J10 and J20 hehe!

  • @patwwe Thank you! Get thos J trucks moving instead of sitting! :)

  • @05ls2goat Anytime :D. Haha plan on it... Right now the J10 is sitting so it just got 40's put on it to get it moving. The J20 is getting restored and will be getting a Cummins put in it.

  • bad ass

  • BEAST

  • Hell YESS, YESS, YESS!!

I'm picking up my 78 jeep j10 next weekend. Think you can give some advise on where I could pick up OEM or Aftermarket parts for these trucks?

  • @Scott4pres81

Jeepforum is always a good place to start. I also got a few parts here and there from teamgrandwagoneer

Pretty much everything else on this truck is either stock or fabricated

  • @Scott4pres81 Are you a member of the International Full Size Jeep Association? If not, you will be! :D

  • My 2010 2dr black JK look like a piece of shit next to this amazing gladiator!!!

  • @ledudeSansnom A black 2 door JK is hardly a piece of shit! lol Actually, If I were to buy a new wrangler to DD it would be exactly that! Right now I DD a black 1988 YJ on 33" bfg mud terrains, and its a great beater but needs some more punch. In the spring when my GTO and the gladiator come out to play i'm going to shove the YJ in the garage and swap in an 8.8 and 4bt.

  • @05ls2goat 4bt all the way post vids and maybe a how to vid on making motor mounts.

  • @05ls2goat Haha i know , im in love with my jk , the only thing i dislike its that my beast is still stock , but .. hes young! not even one year old so before customising ill use what i paid for in this case , suspension ,tires n the ugly mags !. i was just saying that compared to your truck , my jk is reallyyyy soft haha! have a nice day!

  • amazing jeep - i love it - keep the good stuff out thee :-)

  • I was loving this truck all the way up until I saw that distributor in the wrong place... It's a nice Jeep but i'd put an AMC engine back in it.

  • @69amcya70 It was originally a 232 with a 3 speed on the floor. If it were an original 360, that is what would have stayed in it. My family is a die hard Jeep and Chevy family so to me, it wasnt too much of a sin to put an almost 500hp sbc in the truck

  • @05ls2goat Just razzing you on the engine choice. In the end it's your Jeep and you can do whatever you want to it..... I'd still drive it!

  • muy lindo jeep.. felicitaciones

  • I'd rather see a 426 Hemi in it instead if possible. Still one of the most bad ass trucks out there.

  • @sodapop554 A 426 doesnt really belong in the truck either. If keeping it more original/correct mattered to me, it would have a 360AMC. The next motor that finds its way into the truck will either be a blown LSx or a viper v10.

  • @05ls2goat True, for that matter putting a diesel in that jeep would be pretty bad ass as well. Sure it's not original but then you've got the best of two time periods. A durable body, and a durable motor.

  • That's a beautiful truck! I just turned 20 and joined the Air Force, and I've always told myself that my next vehicle will be a jeep pickup. I've always wanted to restore a classic Commanche or even a cj, but I don't have the talent nor skill lol. But thank the car gods, they are coming out with a 2012 model Jeep Gladiator...with my name on it lol. Keep Jeepin' my friend! :)

  • @Kaboose811 Thanks for the compliment! I encourage you to start a project anyway. Just dont pick one that is too over your head. Everyone that works on their own vehicles had to start somewhere! Thanks for serving, and keep on jeepin' :)

  • @Kaboose811 Not to burst yur bubble but don't hold yur breathe for that 2012 jeep truck...definitely go for a FSJ truck! Commanches were alright but nothing beats classic FSJ steel!

  • @05ls2goat The rhino grill is the grill instead of it going all the way across like yours its just that cool square looking1. It might be called something else but thats what i always new it as. And your lucky that everything is all original lol, and ya like you said ive have been having a hard time trying to find a stepside in good condition

  • hey man beautiful jeep! ive got a 65 j3000 with the rhino grill, its coming along nicely, im just trying to find a stepside bed for it. but damn that is a one of the nicest looking trucks ive seen, good job on the resoration man

  • @Dnigz13 Thanks you, and good luck with your project! It's quite difficult to find these beds in good shape with the correct rocker panels, but they're still out there. Fortunately, mine are original. I'm not sure what a rhino grill is... I'll have to look that up :)

  • Holy shit that's awsome jeep!

  • @Grater812 Thank you very much.

  • all i have to say is.......HOW MUCH???

  • @judasxxi wayyy too much in it to ever sell it. Thanks for the compliment

  • Beautiful Truck :)

  • This is awesome

  • beautiful truck man!! congartulations!!, I´ have a ´65 Jeep Gladiator , but restore it take a lot of money and time...beautiful color and incredible instruments ( in my country no exist) congratulations again and enjoy it ....!!

  • @caimanlatirostris thank you! This truck took about 19 years to restore. Time to start yours! You can still make a very nice truck without spending the money that went into this one

  • love it love it love it!!!!

  • Awesome looking jeep

I wish I still had mine

This video makes me want to

Trade my m1009 for another jeep

    Great video

  • @admmaddog1 thank you!

  • best ever

  • that comment made me smile ear to ear. thank you!

  • good for you man, lets help by keeping these legends on the and show car company's what real 4x4 drive vehicles are!!!

  • thanks! it now has a whopping 1200 miles on it =)

  • jeep =just empty every pocket or just enjoy everyones parts i got ten years an thousands in my 62 j 200 but i wouldent change a thing exp rust i hate rust

  • very true! and good for you man! J trucks are such good looking pickups. timeless, beautiful styling. good luck on yours! luckily this truck had NO rust on it what so ever =) some of my previous wranglers on the other hand... now thats another story LOL

  • how much was put into it

  • over 30k and counting. (it's never done lol)

its priceless to me though :)

  • dang thats alot

  • amazing truck

  • thank you very much! just broke 1000 miles yesterday!

  • why a chevy motor 360 amc motor is better nice truck.

  • a 360 amc is actually what the original plan was to keep it more correct. This motor was given to me by a relative and is actually a hotter motor than we would have been able to make the amc and still be streetable. i make good power into the 7k rpm range
