I first fell in love with this Prelude when I heard it in "Princess Daisy" the miniseries.
The guy was playing it on a cello, if memory serves.
Luckily I didnt have to look far to find the sheet music- it was in one of my mom`s old books.(Doesn`t say the number of the prelude though. Is it Op.28no.7?)
that was good, although maybe more emphasis on dynamics. maybe a bit slower and more feeling into it and it would be really good. but you played it very well!
good effort, but i can only give it a 5 out of 10. left hand needs to be toned down. expression needs more work. you need a better piano, cuz by the time ur grade 10 piano, u wont be able to play anything on that piano right now. also, your fingering needs complete recovering. too ugly. watch the pinky as you play. that's not good.
Not too bad. Obviously you need to polish up that part as you go into and come out of the more accelerated, intense part (notes and rhythm got pretty jenky there). I personally like the song played more softly, especially in the beginning. This seemed a little to strong/harsh to me, especially your left hand. If you have like a damper pedal (that doesn't look like the best piano) you might want to use it for this piece. Nice though.
He plays very well, no doubt, good touch and good rythm but personnally, i prefer bend more the rythm to my feeling, slowing sometimes, making me drawning into it and then explode before calming, soothed, for the finish. All in sweetness with a free anger moment in the middle. Remember, Chopin is all about an anger management problem!
Constructive comment is valuable, that's how we improve.
This piece has a strong nostalgic reflective voice which is easy to sentamentalize. There are many ways of playing it but chosing the narrative of the voice is key.
really tied of idiots saying stupid stuff like "play it with feeling" or "make it sing" try getting a life and practicing your own playing. Chances are you probably arent even that good technically anyways.
this was his most saddest peice, by which my favorite of Chopin.

Actually I think the miniseries was "Lace", not "Princess Daisy".

You need to play it more flowing.

Firstly, there is about hunded preludes by chopin. You could write a NUMBER of this one.
secondly - sadly enough, you're not professional pianist and play bad.
You need more practise.

Really? I thought there were like 25 or so...
And who cares he's not a pro, doesn't mean he plays bad. He may need more practice, doesn't mean you have be so frank.

He didn't write 100. He wrote like 24.

its good, but they are right. chopins music was very lyrical, so it needs to be played with alot of feeling
