@BornAgainstMormons How can that be when Mormon Christianity is a contradiction in terms? That's like saying "a fat skinny dude" or "a compassionate serial killer" is an oxymormon, I mean oxymoron. Whoops.

I'm not tryin to troll mormons or anything because my best friends family is mormon and I love them dearly. But the Truth is the truth. No way no how one single american is going to hold the answer to everything and save everyone lol Just doesn't happen. Joseph Smith makes as much sense as Muhammad/Allah combo. You need to learn about what Christ actually taught and not what Mr Smith taught my friend.
@BornAgainstMormons I fail to see how calling out lies and blasphemy against Christ institutes bigotry? Especially when I opened with saying how I meant no offense to mormons. You might choose to ignore the Truth but it doesn't mean the Truth goes away or is any less prevalent. Return your faith to the Holy Trinity where it belongs and learn the Truth from Christ's Church that He built Himself and cast aside the lies and fables spun by joseph smith
@BornAgainstMormons lol says the guy whose faith denies the divinity of Jesus and claims that all mortal men can become equal to God and travel to another planet to be with him (only if you're an elder in the church though)
@PrayforVocations333 lets talk about who Yeshua baryosef was minus his claims to divinity. He was from Galilee in the first century. Galilee, ok, that's almost more insignificant to the world of the first century than "upstate New York" was in its in 1820. "can any good thing come out of Nazareth?" said Nathanael when he was told the Messiah had come from Galilee of all places. (john 1:46)
@PrayforVocations333 Now ye may suppose that this is foolishness in me; but behold I say unto you, that by small and simple things are great things brought to pass; and small means in many instances doth confound the wise. 7 And the Lord God doth work by means to bring about his great and eternal purposes; and by very small means the Lord doth confound the wise and bringeth about the salvation of many souls. (alma 37:6-7)
@BornAgainstMormons Jesus has never ever been shown to have ever being a real person.Moses wrote the first parts of the Bible and he has never been shown to be a real person. Historic evidence other then holy books will work..
Oh my gosh! I grew up in the Mormon Church and it is a completely FALSE RELIGION! Read the book CAN MITT ROMNEY SERVE TWO MASTERS? and you will see the documented truth about this horribly deceptive religion. The folks on this video are not discerning and are easily swayed in to deception. Arm yourselves and other Christians with the truth that is documented about Mormonism in this book.
@certainlytruthful That book is labeled hate speech and factually untrue by most reviewers. Why would you want to be associated with that kind of garbage? Or worse, the despicable person that wrote it?
@BornAgainstMormons That book is completely documented and factual. It has almost 100 pages of references and is complete truth. Don't know who you are listening to but you are dead wrong. The author is also a true Christian and a conservative. Hmmm, because you have lied here about the validity of this truthful book and slammed the author, personally, you must be a Mormon, or worse, just an evil human being.
@BornAgainstMormons Who do you think you are kidding? You have not read the book. I have. It's mostly written with Mormon's own quoted words so I guess you are labeling what Mormon's say as "factually untrue"...which would be accurate.
Everything is completely referenced and doccumented in the book. Just because you can't handle the truth does not condone you calling others, or, a docummented book lies.
@certainlytruthful quoting someone who quoted someone who quote a 3rd hand source, hearsay, or just plain calumny does not make a "documented book" any more credible than an undocumented one.
@BornAgainstMormons Yes, liar. Thousands of Mormon Polygamists-practicing today. I know you know all about it and are just lying. Anyone else can glance at the article
Current state of polygamy in the Latter Day Saint movement
All you antimormon trolls need to step off. You really think that our converts are deceived by a message which causes such great joy in their hearts and is accompanied by manifestations of the hand of god?
They should have talked to me first. I could have shown then incontrovertible proof that the Book of Mormon is false as a $3 bill. Well, they're not dead yet :)
Amen! When I first met the missionaries, I set out to prove to them that they were misled. I dug up every bit of dirt on the church, on the doctrine, and on Joseph Smith that I could find, and presented it to them, sources cited, in order to show them how wrong their church was. I hoped I could save those 2 young men from a false church. In the end, they taught ME the truth! Within 6 weeks I had gained a testimony of the truthfulness of the restored gospel. I'm thankful to be a latter-day saint!
Although Mormons are usually friendly, loving, and kind people, they are deceived by a false religion that distorts the nature of God, the Person of Jesus Christ, and the means of salvation. The problem with Mormonism is that it contradicts, modifies, and expands on the Bible. Christians have no reason to believe that the Bible is not true and adequate. Mormons are not Christians and Christians are not Mormons. Don't be fooled by 'sincerity' people, because Mormon's are sincerely wrong.
@BornAgainstMormons. Geez. Don't you think it is odd that the vast majority of Christians would tell you that Mormon's are not Christians at all, but are a cult? A Protestant wouldn't say a Baptist isn't a Christian for example, but the same cannot be said of a Mormon. I suppose a Mormon can say all day long that a Mormon IS a Christian, but Christians as a whole would whole heartedly disagree with you. Joseph Smith's claim to knowing the 'restored gospel' is just that: a claim.
@koolazzice Actually the only Christians that say Mormon Christians are not Christians is white evangelical males. The same group that has a long history of evil towards other groups. I hope that clears things up.
@BornAgainstMormons That's just another one of your misrepresentations of truth. I have african-american,mexican, filipino, etc, friends that are Protestants that agree with me wholeheartedly. It is in no way a 'white' thing. That is ridiculous for you even to say that. But not near as ridiculous of the self made claims of Joseph Smith! But since you have a keen interest in history, why dont you share the history of the LDS and their exclusion of black people!
@BornAgainstMormons . The pew institute also says that atheist score higher in religious knowledge than both mormons and protestants. But in my experience with many atheist..that is not the case at all.But since the 'pew institute' says it is true..it must be so! LOL Joseph Smith says that he read golden plates with special magical glasses sent out of heaven to interpret the writings on the plates to show that the gospels were tainted and needed to be restored, so it must be true!..NOT! LOL
@BornAgainstMormons regarding?(since I made more than one statement). Be specific. Q: What is your answer to the teaching in Revelation 22 vs. 18 that anyone who adds or takes away from the Bible will be dealt with plagues and banishment?
@BornAgainstMormons mormons are not christian in the sense that their doctrines deny the divinity of Christ. God the Father was once man and is exalted to the high heavens? man can and will not "ever" become God.....ever.......ever. How can mormons suggest otherwise? You can't honestly believe Christ would let His Church fall into apostasy for a thousand plus years until a single american happened by for Him to reveal the truth too. That's the most ridiculous claim ever!
Great Job Merrill! It really is true, the honest in heart will always receive the truth of the Book Of Mormon. As the lady said, "My relationship with Jesus Christ is more than I ever imagined it could be". That also has been my experience..
loving charity ? why is it then that the lds don’t make their so called charitable deeds known to the public? loving charity another contradiction by the lds
@greeneyesangel69 This is why. Matthew 6:1-2,4 "Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven. Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall breward thee openly."

@greeneyesangel69 "why is it then that the lds don’t make their so called charitable deeds known to the public?" Are you serious? Look up LDS philanthropy to see the millions of dollars spent by the church on humanitarian aid. This is just within the last 5-6 years! This does not include the fast offering donations, bishop's storehouses, or even welfare square.
Please, do at least a tiny bit research before spouting off something like that.
Mormon christian is a contradiction in terms, for one they do not believe in the same Jesus of the Bible. Like president Hinkley said “don’t be counted as those who have studied their way out of the church.” In other words find out the truth.
1. We do believe in the Jesus of the Bible..... We simply don't believe in YOUR intellectual/traditional Jesus. Learn the difference between the two.
2. One can study their way out of anything, that doesn't mean they have the actual truth. As someone who is both a convert to the Church, & who studied his way out of it & was anti-mormon & anti-religion, your anti-mormonism IS NOT THE TRUTH. It is a little truth used to tell great lies. And who is the Father of lies?
The strange thing is that the Book of Mormon doesn't support the Mormon idea of three gods. Most of the passages support the Trinity. Do the Mormons even read their own book?
@Nepthu Mormon Christians believe that Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost are only three Gods when it comes to physical appearance. When it comes to everything else they are one God. As pertaining to everything spiritual they are one God. One in Unity, One in love, One in objective, One in purpose, One in desire, One in Goodness etc. Anytime any of the Holy Scriptures discuss Them physically They are separate, anytime They are discussed spiritually They are One.
@BornAgainstMormons What a convoluted answer. That way you can answer people yes or no depending on your mood. Trinitarians believe God and Jesus are one in all those ways as well.
Funny how someone asks who God is in Ether, and God answers, "I am Jesus Christ. I am God the Father." He doesn't give a big explanation about how they're two separate beings in physical nature, etc.
an angel appeared to me today and has given me the new bible and i must write it down but i lost the book but i remember it in my head. it says that joseph smith sucked off brigham young in hell. satan came on their faces
hey, dont kill the messenger. just doing what the angel told me to do. also we are to marry animals and we may have up to 7 animal wives. but they must be animals which chew their cud
Wait. Just a question, BornAgainstMormons. So are you with the LDS and Mormons, and against any sort of Anti-LDS or Anti-Christian sort of thing? Just an LDS Member wondering. I hope you answer this question.
You people waste time with watered down versions of Christianity devised by the delusional Joseph Smith. Catholicism was the original Christian faith. It was meticulously constructed through the true gospel; analyzed and witnessed by hundreds of theologians, scientists, historians and philosophers, and is (till this day) still the largest Christian denomination in the world.
It is the one true faith, with its roots branching back from Judeo tradition 6000 years ago.
What do the trinitarians have to offer the world? Their trinitarian God created this world, provided billions of souls to occupy it, & sent a Redeemer to save those souls so they could return to Heaven. However, He made a limited effort to give those billions access to the key of redemption--the chance to know that Redeemer & ACCEPT or REJECT Him. Then He condemns those billions to hell because they didn't accept the Redeemer the majority never even heard of.....cont....
If their God is omnipotent, He could have made a way for ALL to participate. Because of this I REJECT their trinitarian Jesus. I refuse to accept a God who is so uncaring, unloving, & unjust that He ignores the prayers & pleadings of the vast majority of His human creations.
This will send me to their hell, but I do this of my own free will & choice. In their hell, I will be among the billions who were never given a free will & choice.....cont....
While many in their hell are the evil & wicked of the world, many are innocent souls who tried to conduct their lives to the best of their knowledge & abilities. There are hundreds of millions who would have accepted the True Son of God had they been given the chance.
The trinitarian God created more souls to be condemned to hell than will ever be exalted to Heaven.
They have absolutely nothing to offer me. I see no reason to abandon my beliefs for theirs.....end
Show us what trinitarians have to offer. What must a person do to be saved? Is baptism necessary for salvation? Will all mankind be resurrected or will only the "saved" enjoy resurrection?
@BornAgainstMormons One way to promote compassion and harmony is by practicing the four divine abodes. Those are four meditative states in which one develops loving kindness, altruistic joy, compassion and equanimity. By understanding that all sentient beings live according to the law of Karma, irrespective of their religion or worldview, we can see all beings from a universal perspective, without the doctrinal struggles about trinity, God's wives, etc.
@BornAgainstMormons Not at all. I have never experienced so much "Christian charity" than in Asian Buddhist countries. Even as a stranger, people help you out a lot and care for you. I remember forgetting my ID card in a post office in Japan. The postal clerk came running after me. That would never have happened in a Christian country. "He'll come back." they would say.
@BornAgainstMormons If you ask Japanese people what religion they belong to, most say Buddhist, next comes "We are both Buddhists and Shintoists", much fewer regard themselves only as Shintoist. Shinto as a state religion was part of the national movement starting in 1868 and ending in a world war. "Shinto nation" is maybe as disagreeable to a contemporary Japanese as "Aryan nation" is to a contemporary German.
A decision made by a 19-year-old Mormon is making headlines in Australia these days.
Will Hopoate, a fullback for the Manly-Warrinagh Sea Eagles, recently announced his decision to leave professional rugby at the end of the season to serve a two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In so doing, he is forsaking millions.
"At the end of the day it was all my decision. This is what I want to do," Hopoate told the media in a press conference.
To be a professional rugby player in Australia would be comparable to playing in the NFL. And like in the NFL, when a rugby player does something -- positive or negative -- it makes national headlines.
Hopoate's decision to serve a Mormon mission has been covered extensively in the past week. .
"English Mormons later petitioned the British on this cause. The Vancouver Island Colony ... was remote and thought to have good potential for farmland. The Mormon headquarters would be sited at Nootka. They opted instead for Utah, but the Vancouver Island option come up again during the Utah War a decade later. ..
Sad that a saved Christian would be suckered into to Joseph's Myth. Deuteronomy 18:21-23 tells us that we can test a prophet based on his prophecies. SMITH WAS AND IS A FRAUD! The Book of Mormon is a second gospel. (Galatians 1:8). COME UNTO CHRIST, NOT JOSEPH SMITH! SMITH CANNOT SAVE YOU! I QUIT THE CULT AND YOU CAN TOO!
Family prayer is one treatment for our social ills. A National Day of prayer is not "shaping" any leaders and parents today. When politicians, educators, business leaders and parents work out hypocrisy in their own hearts-- in their own closets--a spirit of humility will sweep across our nation, and we will better enjoy the favor of our "powerful Friend."
@YAAUFA Thank you but I would prefer a Mormon answer. I guess they are not interested in exploration of truth but would instead remain with their heads buried and hidden from the truth.
@YAAUFA Wow that is the best news I have heard all day. Congratulations and welcome to the faith! I hope not all is lost with your family. I would not know but suspect It must be bitter sweet.
If the Church's position on same-sex attractions, expression, and marriage for same-sex couples were not clear enough, LDS President of the Quorum of Twelve Apostles, Boyd K. Packer, referred to homosexuality throughout a sharply worded sermon as "wrong," "wicked," "impure," "unnatural," "immoral," "against nature," "evil," and as a threat to civilization.
Packer delivered his sermon to the more than 20,000 participants in the LDS Conference Center in Salt Lake City, and millions more watching on satellite television at the Church's 180th Semiannual General Conference in October 2010.
@BornAgainstMormons "Mormon Christian is like loving charity. The first word denotes a higher form of the second."
Sorry, you can't have it both ways. Either you're Mormon or you're Christian. Being Christian is being for Jesus and ONLY Him all the way, including teachings of the Bible. When you believe Joseph Smith did more than Christ ever did, you are just a Mormon. The follower of a man- made cult, and of a man who was an adulterer, a pedophile and con-artist. You are very delusional.
@majinish Mormonism is NOT Christian. You reject parts of the Bible, you pick and choose what verses you want, to make them sound as though they some how support Mormonism. You don't even have a clear or accurate concept of the true Jesus Christ. If you were Christian, you would be with Jesus ALL the way, not part of the way. When you believe Joseph Smith did more than anyone, including Christ Himself, and has authority of judgement, you go against Christ. The Bible is God's only word and truth.
@cayetanohawaii Yea, we're Christians. lol We teach all of the Bible. Yes, we have an accurate concept of the real Jesus. "When you believe Joseph Smith did more than anyone, including Christ Himself, and has authority of judgement, you go against Christ. " You said I don't know Jesus yet I do know Jesus said there would be people that would do greater works than what he did. The Bible and Book of Mormon are the word of God.
@cayetanohawaii Why do you follow the teachings of Matthew, Paul, Jeremiah, Isaiah, Luke, or the other prophets and apostles? Jesus said to accept His messengers. Joseph Smith, being a prophet of God, was a messenger of Jesus Christ. There's no "if I were a Christian". Listen up and listen good, I AM a Christian. Have you ever read 1 Corinthians 15 or Revelation 14:6? We're Christians whether you like it or not,
@majinish " Jesus said there would be people that would do greater works than what he did. The Bible and Book of Mormon are the word of God."
And the Bible also warned that there would be false prophets (like Joseph Smith) who would deceive people. I'm still not surprised how Mormons have convinced themselves they are Christian and actually know the real Jesus Christ. Listen good, you are not Christian. Joseph Smith is an anti-Christ and Mormonism is a lie straight from the Devil himself.
@cayetanohawaii Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God. Why do people think those verses mean every prophet would be false? We're Christians. It doesn't matter if you disagree. That's not the issue. The issue is you're 100% wrong in your statement. If Joseph Smith was an anti-Christ why was he so diligently looking for the church that taught the whole truth of Jesus Christ? He did as James 1:5 says, ask of God.
@majinish Hebrews 1:1-3 explicitly states that the need for prophets were gone long ago. That is because Jesus restored the gospel. The restored gospel is the New Testament. You are a lost sheep that has been led astray from the true gospel of Jesus Christ. I pray God will open your eyes to the truth. Mormonism is a fraud. Joseph started it because he wanted fame and fortune, not to mention his fetish for teenage girls.
@cayetanohawaii Incorrect. It actually says God has always used prophets to speak to us. God is unchanging so saying there's no need for prophets is saying He changes. Nope, I'm not lost either. I do know the gospel of Jesus Christ. It's the Holy Ghost that has let me know the church is true. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the only true church on the earth because it's Jesus Christ's church.
@majinish "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the only true church on the earth because it's Jesus Christ's church."
The LDS Church is man's church. All lies made up by one man and a few of his cronies like Brigham Young. More so, it is the Devil's sanctuary of deceit. Your church's founder was no saint. He was a murderer, an adulterer, a pervert and a con- man. Any knowledgeable Christian in Western culture can identify a cult with 13 million members.
@cayetanohawaii Well, Jesus Christ was born in flesh and HE is a man so it is that man's, Jesus Christ's, church. I don't call anyone a Christian that calls Jesus Christ's church, THE Christian church, a cult. Yes, Joseph Smith was a prophet of God. No, he wasn't the founder of the church. Jesus Christ is. You're no different than the Pharisees who spoke out against prophets.
@majinish Cont'd... Actually, NONE of Joseph Smith's prophecies ever happened. The prophets in the Bible who made prophecies DID happen and are happening today. Just like the prophecies about people like you who LIE, DECEIVE and MANIPULATE Christianity!
@cayetanohawaii Wow. You're ignorant of history and the Bible as well. Yes, Joseph Smith's prophecies did happen. I know that for a fact. No, not all in the Old Testament happened. Sorry kid but I'm not the one lying here, that would be you. Ezekiel prophesied that Babylon would get Tyre's riches after the victory over them. In 29:17-20 we learn Babylon did NOT get those riches as prophesied.
@cayetanohawaii Jonah, Ezekiel, Jeremiah, and Nathan had prophecies that did not take place. Jeremiah said Zedekiah would die in peace yet died while in captivity not long after watching all but one of his sons be killed. Not a peaceful death as Jeremiah prophesied. Nathan says David's empire would be forever. That didn't happen. Reread the Bible because you lack knowledge of it.
@cayetanohawaii Well it's your words against God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost. All you've done is ignored anything I said. You have no clue who Jesus Christ is. We know the real Jesus. We teach his gospel after all. I hope God will open your eyes and allow you to know you've been led astray by the world.
@majinish your statements are a complete joke. The Bible said if even an angel from heaven should preach a different gospel than the one taught (the gospel of the Bible) shall be condemned. Therefore, if the angel Moroni did exist, that should bring question. We know Joseph Smith is a false prophet when he introduced doctrines that are absolutely contrary to the teachings in the Bible. Mormonism is a different gospel. Joseph used the Bible to plagiarize the BOM to make it look legit.
@majinish The difference between the Bible and BOM is the Bible has VERIFIABLE archeological evidence. The BOM has NONE. And you just believe Joseph Smith? What about the many prophesies he made with specific time frames that never happened? That's how you know a false prophet. In fact, the civilizations and stories from the BOM cannot be verified. There are facts that don't even match up. You have teachings in your doctrines that are OPPOSITE to what the Bible teaches. That's not Christian.
@cayetanohawaii "The BOM has NONE." Wrong as usual. "What about the many prophesies he made with specific time frames that never happened" FYI, there were prophecies made by Old Testament prophets that didn't happen. However, nearly all of Joseph Smith's prophecies did happen. "stories from the BOM cannot be verified" That's funny because I've done some real research and yes it is verified. We teach what the Bible teaches. We're Christians.
@majinish "We're Christians." So say the Jehovah Witness, Moonie, Roman Catholic, Church of Christ, or any group who all suffer from that fatal disease, the true church syndrome. The Mormon church is not unique in ANY regards, even though you THINK it is.
@majinish "FYI, there were prophecies made by Old Testament prophets that didn't happen. However, nearly all of Joseph Smith's prophecies did happen."
"That's funny because I've done some real research and yes it is verified. We teach what the Bible teaches. We're Christians."
Now you are flat out lying. Your deception truly has no end. Don't sit there and lie and try to convince everyone JS's prophecies all happened, when in fact, most of them did NOT. The BOM has NO verifiable evidence.
@cayetanohawaii "Now you are flat out lying." As usual you're wrong. Yea, nearly all of Joseph Smith's prophecies happened. You don't even bother mentioning specifics, you just say "they didn't happen" in a desperate attempt. Yea, the Book of Mormon has verifiable evidence. Archeology, Dead Sea Scrolls, Bible. Which place do you want me to start? There's a wide range of evidence between those 3.
@majinish Cont'd... JS also said the sun and moon would be hidden for a number of days at a certain time. Never happened. He said the prophesy of Isaiah 11 was about to be fulfilled in his time. Never happened. If you didn't know these things, then not only are you ignorant of the Bible, but also your own church history. All of this is printed in LDS doctrines. As for the Nahom finding, since little is known, you have no leg to stand on with that. Likely, it's a scham like the rest of Mormonism.
@cayetanohawaii "JS also said the sun and moon would be hidden for a number of days at a certain time." And this happened. So you've never heard of Solar or Lunar Eclipses?
@cayetanohawaii "Isaiah 11" Which has happened. No, it's not talking about those literal animals.
"As for the Nahom finding, since little is known, you have no leg to stand on with that."
Wow. So someone gives you PROOF and it doesn't have a leg to stand on suddenly. Sorry kid but Nahom is a major find that does authenticate the Book of Mormon.

@certainlytruthful That book is labeled hate speech and factually untrue by most reviewers. Why would you want to be associated with that kind of garbage? Or worse, the despicable person that wrote it?
BornAgainstMormons 2 months ago
@BornAgainstMormons That book is completely documented and factual. It has almost 100 pages of references and is complete truth. Don't know who you are listening to but you are dead wrong. The author is also a true Christian and a conservative. Hmmm, because you have lied here about the validity of this truthful book and slammed the author, personally, you must be a Mormon, or worse, just an evil human being.

@certainlytruthful No it is not.
BornAgainstMormons 2 months ago
@BornAgainstMormons Who do you think you are kidding? You have not read the book. I have. It's mostly written with Mormon's own quoted words so I guess you are labeling what Mormon's say as "factually untrue"...which would be accurate.
Everything is completely referenced and doccumented in the book. Just because you can't handle the truth does not condone you calling others, or, a docummented book lies.

@certainlytruthful By the dishonesty coursing through your keyboard, you probably wrote the book too. With the help of the devil himself.

@certainlytruthful quoting someone who quoted someone who quote a 3rd hand source, hearsay, or just plain calumny does not make a "documented book" any more credible than an undocumented one.

Don't be fooled by 'sincerity' people, because Mormon's are sincerely wrong.
koolazzice 4 months ago
@koolazzice Mormons are some of the finest Christians. To say otherwise is to deny all good and all good comes from God.
BornAgainstMormons 3 months ago
@BornAgainstMormons. Geez. Don't you think it is odd that the vast majority of Christians would tell you that Mormon's are not Christians at all, but are a cult? A Protestant wouldn't say a Baptist isn't a Christian for example, but the same cannot be said of a Mormon. I suppose a Mormon can say all day long that a Mormon IS a Christian, but Christians as a whole would whole heartedly disagree with you. Joseph Smith's claim to knowing the 'restored gospel' is just that: a claim.

The strange thing is that the Book of Mormon doesn't support the Mormon idea of three gods. Most of the passages support the Trinity. Do the Mormons even read their own book?
Nepthu 7 months ago
@Nepthu Mormon Christians believe that Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost are only three Gods when it comes to physical appearance. When it comes to everything else they are one God. As pertaining to everything spiritual they are one God. One in Unity, One in love, One in objective, One in purpose, One in desire, One in Goodness etc. Anytime any of the Holy Scriptures discuss Them physically They are separate, anytime They are discussed spiritually They are One.
BornAgainstMormons 7 months ago
@BornAgainstMormons What a convoluted answer. That way you can answer people yes or no depending on your mood. Trinitarians believe God and Jesus are one in all those ways as well.

Do some research folks.

Their trinitarian God created this world, provided billions of souls to occupy it, & sent a Redeemer to save those souls so they could return to Heaven. Kannon12 7 months ago
@Kannon12 Can you give me specific examples of such?
BornAgainstMormons 7 months ago
@BornAgainstMormons One way to promote compassion and harmony is by practicing the four divine abodes. Those are four meditative states in which one develops loving kindness, altruistic joy, compassion and equanimity. By understanding that all sentient beings live according to the law of Karma, irrespective of their religion or worldview, we can see all beings from a universal perspective, without the doctrinal struggles about trinity, God's wives, etc.
Kannon12 7 months ago
@Kannon12 So it is more of a 'saying' religion than a 'doing' religion?
BornAgainstMormons 7 months ago
@BornAgainstMormons Not at all. I have never experienced so much "Christian charity" than in Asian Buddhist countries. Even as a stranger, people help you out a lot and care for you. I remember forgetting my ID card in a post office in Japan. The postal clerk came running after me. That would never have happened in a Christian country. "He'll come back." they would say.
Kannon12 7 months ago
@Kannon12 I don't think the Japanese consider themselves an Asian Buddhist country. Shinto maybe.
BornAgainstMormons 6 months ago
@BornAgainstMormons If you ask Japanese people what religion they belong to, most say Buddhist, next comes "We are both Buddhists and Shintoists", much fewer regard themselves only as Shintoist. Shinto as a state religion was part of the national movement starting in 1868 and ending in a world war. "Shinto nation" is maybe as disagreeable to a contemporary Japanese as "Aryan nation" is to a contemporary German.

A decision made by a 19-year-old Mormon is making headlines in Australia these days.

The Bible is God's only word and truth.
cayetanohawaii 10 months ago
@cayetanohawaii Yea, we're Christians. lol We teach all of the Bible. Yes, we have an accurate concept of the real Jesus. "When you believe Joseph Smith did more than anyone, including Christ Himself, and has authority of judgement, you go against Christ. " You said I don't know Jesus yet I do know Jesus said there would be people that would do greater works than what he did. The Bible and Book of Mormon are the word of God.
majinish 10 months ago
@cayetanohawaii Why do you follow the teachings of Matthew, Paul, Jeremiah, Isaiah, Luke, or the other prophets and apostles? Jesus said to accept His messengers. Joseph Smith, being a prophet of God, was a messenger of Jesus Christ. There's no "if I were a Christian". Listen up and listen good, I AM a Christian. Have you ever read 1 Corinthians 15 or Revelation 14:6? We're Christians whether you like it or not,
majinish 10 months ago
@majinish " Jesus said there would be people that would do greater works than what he did. The Bible and Book of Mormon are the word of God."
And the Bible also warned that there would be false prophets (like Joseph Smith) who would deceive people. I'm still not surprised how Mormons have convinced themselves they are Christian and actually know the real Jesus Christ. Listen good, you are not Christian. Joseph Smith is an anti-Christ and Mormonism is a lie straight from the Devil himself.
cayetanohawaii 10 months ago
@cayetanohawaii Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God. Why do people think those verses mean every prophet would be false? We're Christians. It doesn't matter if you disagree. That's not the issue. The issue is you're 100% wrong in your statement. If Joseph Smith was an anti-Christ why was he so diligently looking for the church that taught the whole truth of Jesus Christ? He did as James 1:5 says, ask of God.
majinish 10 months ago
@majinish Hebrews 1:1-3 explicitly states that the need for prophets were gone long ago. That is because Jesus restored the gospel. The restored gospel is the New Testament. You are a lost sheep that has been led astray from the true gospel of Jesus Christ. I pray God will open your eyes to the truth. Mormonism is a fraud. Joseph started it because he wanted fame and fortune, not to mention his fetish for teenage girls.
cayetanohawaii 10 months ago
@cayetanohawaii Incorrect. It actually says God has always used prophets to speak to us. God is unchanging so saying there's no need for prophets is saying He changes. Nope, I'm not lost either. I do know the gospel of Jesus Christ. It's the Holy Ghost that has let me know the church is true. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the only true church on the earth because it's Jesus Christ's church.
majinish 10 months ago
@majinish "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the only true church on the earth because it's Jesus Christ's church."
The LDS Church is man's church. All lies made up by one man and a few of his cronies like Brigham Young. More so, it is the Devil's sanctuary of deceit. Your church's founder was no saint. He was a murderer, an adulterer, a pervert and a con- man. Any knowledgeable Christian in Western culture can identify a cult with 13 million members.
cayetanohawaii 10 months ago
@cayetanohawaii Well, Jesus Christ was born in flesh and HE is a man so it is that man's, Jesus Christ's, church. I don't call anyone a Christian that calls Jesus Christ's church, THE Christian church, a cult. Yes, Joseph Smith was a prophet of God. No, he wasn't the founder of the church. Jesus Christ is. You're no different than the Pharisees who spoke out against prophets.
majinish 10 months ago
@majinish Cont'd... Actually, NONE of Joseph Smith's prophecies ever happened. The prophets in the Bible who made prophecies DID happen and are happening today. Just like the prophecies about people like you who LIE, DECEIVE and MANIPULATE Christianity!
cayetanohawaii 10 months ago
@cayetanohawaii Wow. You're ignorant of history and the Bible as well. Yes, Joseph Smith's prophecies did happen. I know that for a fact. No, not all in the Old Testament happened. Sorry kid but I'm not the one lying here, that would be you. Ezekiel prophesied that Babylon would get Tyre's riches after the victory over them. In 29:17-20 we learn Babylon did NOT get those riches as prophesied.
majinish 10 months ago
@cayetanohawaii Jonah, Ezekiel, Jeremiah, and Nathan had prophecies that did not take place. Jeremiah said Zedekiah would die in peace yet died while in captivity not long after watching all but one of his sons be killed. Not a peaceful death as Jeremiah prophesied. Nathan says David's empire would be forever. That didn't happen. Reread the Bible because you lack knowledge of it.
majinish 10 months ago
@cayetanohawaii Well it's your words against God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost. All you've done is ignored anything I said. You have no clue who Jesus Christ is. We know the real Jesus. We teach his gospel after all. I hope God will open your eyes and allow you to know you've been led astray by the world.
majinish 10 months ago
@majinish your statements are a complete joke. The Bible said if even an angel from heaven should preach a different gospel than the one taught (the gospel of the Bible) shall be condemned. Therefore, if the angel Moroni did exist, that should bring question. We know Joseph Smith is a false prophet when he introduced doctrines that are absolutely contrary to the teachings in the Bible. Mormonism is a different gospel. Joseph used the Bible to plagiarize the BOM to make it look legit.
cayetanohawaii 10 months ago
@majinish The difference between the Bible and BOM is the Bible has VERIFIABLE archeological evidence. The BOM has NONE. And you just believe Joseph Smith? What about the many prophesies he made with specific time frames that never happened? That's how you know a false prophet. In fact, the civilizations and stories from the BOM cannot be verified. There are facts that don't even match up. You have teachings in your doctrines that are OPPOSITE to what the Bible teaches. That's not Christian.
cayetanohawaii 10 months ago

@TheJpgr1958 The name of Jesus Christ's church is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. We're Christians because it's a fact.

@majinish Well stated.
