In truth, we practise the ancient and medieval combat according to the principles of experimental archaeology. We do not copy any source, we practise in the manner which seems to us most plausible, of optimizing the body and the weapon (for example: for the scraping-knife or the sickle, the double keys are frequent, then the goal is to close itself to optimize the defence, to strike which exceeds or to sacrifice a part fleshy to neutralize the adversary.)
