  • Maybe is Texas didn't have idiots on school boards like that dentist that wants to rewrite the constitution and change history and who happens to be a creationist and said he will enforce his belief system in anyway he can while on the school board....damn Texas, you scary! The fact of the matter is we should elect people to school boards that have teaching or education history not bias dentists.

  • Dan Savage can't talk about anything unless it has to do with 'gay'. He's such a one-note guest...get over yourself.

  • @TheHuntress144 Fair point, but he wouldn't have to be in the position he was in if Gays were considered human beings, right? I mean it's just like the occupy folks, they wouldn't be there unless something wasn't so fucked up in this country that it dictates that kind of action. Usually things of that nature are resented by people who have no idea what it's like to be in a position like "a gay man" or "a black man" or "a poor person" or "an unemployed person". Consider the point of view.

  • Quite simple: Acknowledge Alan Turing for being the single most important person in WW2, and point out his suicide from the harassment from the government. That's the only "awesome gay person" you have to add to the curriculum.

  • 2:15

...did he just say "Alan Turning"?!

  • What's wrong with American? All they talking about is GAY GAY GAY Abortion abortion abortion. Are you people mentally chanllenged or you have too much time on hand? Go solve some important issue like universal healthcare, NDAA, corporate lobbyists etc?

  • @SleepingSun1985 I'm an American and yeah you're totally right. Something happened where we focus on unimportant issues, maybe too many Christians or something. I like what Ron Paul says where he moves away from the dichotomy of for/against arguments but towards whether or not the government should deal with those questions. And instinctively most people would say no to big and powerful and governments that legislate morality.

  • What I don't understand is why do Americans need to categorise everything? I mean why should being gay be a standard in the fact that people are being taught about it? Isn't this on the other side of wrong? Don't get me wrong I have no issue with anyone being gay, but the standard in judging wether a person's life and achievements should be taught about in school, should be that person's life and achievements, not his sexual preference. Am I seriously alone in this???

  • Wow, I love how these people like to pull money out of the air instead of out of increasing productivity. The audience is idiotic though.

  • "pills make money" talk about taking the easy answer. Pills, people will actually take. Lifestyle changes, people are non-compliant with.

  • Dan Savage is a fuckin total buzz kill. I guess that is what happens when an uneducated theater major gets a political platform.

  • Only relevant thing said here: "Pills make money"

  • Marc maron needs to have Dan Savage on his Podcast,WTF.Great Podcast!

  • Dr T. Colin Campbell changed my life with his research. i am healthier for it, and my liver is almost normal. i was born with a genetic liver problem. i believe his work is very real and important. in the not to distant future, i think eating animal products will be like smoking.

glad to see him finishing strong at the end of the conversation.

  • that gay guy is annoying

  • Cuban got burned

  • good....we do need a lot more gays. There are WAY too many straights in this world

  • Gay, Gay, Gay that's all the asshole can talk about. He won't be happy until guys are fucking each others assholes on mainstreet. Oh wait they already do that.

  • Relevancy is irrelevant. That's not what teaching kids about disenfranchised people is about. It's to change people's perceptions about them that are widely held in a society.

  • @whyamimrpink78 The first reason I think teaching religion in schools is a bad thing is that if you teach young, trusting people a religion along with things that are facts, and can be proven, the think that religion is fact, and proceed to turn into people who will shove it down your throat later.

  • nice tits Mickey ...

  • marc cuban looks digusting

  • mark cubie 2 billion nigga

  • Requiring schools to teach the contributions of gays? That's just silly and counter productive, you're basically placing them away from 'regular people'.

BTW: This is coming from a guy who lives in a country where homosexuality is a non-issue, if someone running for prime-minister said he was gay the general cumback(intended) would be "So?".

  • @MiloDaemon Some schools in the US require creationism to be taught, others require the contributions of gay individuals, I'd rather live in a state that requires the latter. The thing about American education is that facts and people are literally removed from school history books because they're deemed unacceptable. Requiring the teachings is a way of saying that the names of important people should not be and cannot be deleted from middle school and high school history books.

  • @natyanayaki Mhh, odd- I didn't realise they defined history like that. In that case I guess I see the point.

  • @natyanayaki China also does similar things with their censorship. Such as with Capitalism.

  • Why do they need to be "Gay" in that respect?

Shouldn't we care more about what those contributions are?

I'm all for gay rights, it's a stupid thing to make an example out of....

    People are People

  • fuck everything else in that video, the old guy saying he doesn't need any sort of viagra = win for me

  • bill maher started out with his show being called "politically incorrect" .... but this idea that we should know about the accomplishments of gays is the epitome of political correctness. if any man or woman had an accomplishment in history, all we need to know is the accomplishment. the sexuality or race or religion, etc. of that person is completely irrelevant.

  • I thought that was Robert Downey jr

  • @66ott7 yeah, if RDJ happened to crash in to Stan Lee at 400mph.

  • You are all kinda missing the point here.. Yes sexual preference shouldn't and doesn't matter. However.. this program is aimed at teaching students that gay people are not actually evil and have and do contribute alot of good things to the world just like straight people. And with that hoping that will stop bullying of gay students, who often kill themselves! So sadly this is needed, tho it shouldn't be

  • mark cuban was right on about textbooks. if someone was gay, and they contributed to history, then it should be taught. but what difference does it make if they were gay? do we learn einstein's sexual preferences in a physics book? no. it's just more social engineering...

  • unions blow. it's not the employer's fault that nobody else wants to give you what you demand. fuckin thugs.

  • I think the main reason why older people need viagra is primarily not the food they eat but the grannies they fuck. I dont think Hugh Hefner has the same problem.

  • That doctor is awesome.

  • Comment removed

  • lol, unions for hamburger flippers... give me a break

  • @TheMarksmenCat

Keep saying that when they're the only jobs left and they're paying 2 cents an hour because unemployment is 50%

  • if a gay person has made significant contributions why arent they in history books anyway. it doesnt label anyone elses sexual preferences so what does it matter. i was unaware that gay contributions were omitted

  • you know whats funny the girels gone wild guy is wearing more make up and it less physically fit than the gay guy take that stereo type

  • You gotta love Maher . . . The George Carlin of our time.

  • "Clusterfuckism" - Best ism ever.

  • All they have to do is have clubs at school that focus on other parts of education... when I was in high school, the books did not talk about the contributions or the history of blacks... but, African-American clubs did.

  • Clusterfuckism! love it!

  • Mandatory war tax? YES! Next question!

hahaha oh man that would be the day, then I'd like to see how eager would US be to go to war when you make the Americans vote with their wallets, they'd immediately start caring about the reason why are they being overtaxed, 100% GUARANTEED! Of course, the reason is bullshit every time, so there would be no more US war campaigns.

Jesus, when you say it like that it sounds like just another expansion to Total War series - USA: Iraq campaign edition. :-/

  • @mickeypopa we have a war tax, it's called inflation, need more money? just print it

  • @mickeypopa I agree. But I'd also add, as principle, a deficit tax. Any expenditures that exceed federal receipts must be taxed.

We'll see how much Democrats like their deficit spending then!

  • it's hilarious that every time Marc Maron speaks, it says 'this has to be funny'.

  • @unfortunatebeam In the Netherlands it still somewhat works. Not because the institution is flawed, but rather that we have become lazy. We don't actually want to make an afford for the relations we get into ;)

  • nurses fought in the war? that's news to me.

  • Remember marriage is just an institution made by (wo)men. Its rather more natural to have sex as a man with sveral women because of our biological... stuff. Marriage is just as much unnatural as 'countries'. We have decided that it worked, but institutions can be revized.

  • Comment removed

  • @toverkleet

Countries are not unnatural. And if marriage was an institution devised by women (eye roll), then why exactly was it so oppressive of them?

What was the point of you stylizing (wo)men as you did? And what "biological stuff" are you talking about.

  • @lavinder11 Yes they are unnatural. The borders have been drawn by men, its not a natural state of the continent ;) I mean, in 1648 the borders of the European countries for example has been drawn. about (wo)men, the natural action of men is to spread their seed, however due to convention and also evolution of social behavior that we find it inapproriate to have multiple sexual partners, for both sexes. i said institution with (wo)men. It was devised by both, but more by men.

  • @lavinder11 nothing sexist, nothing like that. Just more as a point of philosophical thought. Its more about what we perceive as what is an institution.

  • @lavinder11 read Wittgenstein

  • i love Marc!!!!!

  • that guy, Dan Savage is so great.

  • So California schools want to teach the contribution of gays in history but they don't wan to teach religions and its roles in philosophy, history and culture? The liberals in California are the dumbest people ever.

  • @whyamimrpink78 There's a separation of church and state buddy.

  • @redielg There isn't separation of church and state. The constitution doesn't allow the government to force the practice of a religion or prohibit the practice of one. If a school teaches, not preaches religions as part of philosophy, history and culture then that is perfectly legal. A great education gives individuals the ability to be open minded, think and know the full story if issues. You want to promote a population of close minded comrades that government can control.

  • @whyamimrpink78 of course you can teach it at schools. There wouldn't be such a thing as religious studies or comparative religion at universities if you couldn't. But you're misreading that to mean there is no separation. In the First Amendment it states, "congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion," which effectively separates chuch from state. That's in there because if it wasn't you could have a theocracy which would be antithetical to constitutional values.

  • @unfortunatebeam Well universities are more private funded mostly privately where public schools are funded by tax dollars. I get what you are saying. People tend to use the first amendment to not allow the teaching of religion in schools or removing "in god we trust" off of currency. That annoys me, teaching religion is teaching religion not forcing religion down people's throat. And "in god we trust" is a 200 year old tradition. We can't change tradition just because a few are offended.

  • Comment removed

  • And for you that say it's not all about procreation, your a fucking idiot...procreation is how you got here. See these television personalities that get on TV and just agree with everything so they don't offend people are cowards...they are going along to get along. Look at Bill Mahers face when this guy asked him to say this actor is hot 6:07, he looks like he wants to say shut the fuck up.

  • Listen, you can love or fuck who you want I can really care less...but please don't try and sell me a hand full of shit and try and make me believe it's chocolate. I'm sure gay people have contributed and created lots of things, but if you want me to believe it's natural for two men or two ladies to fuck and play with each other, it ain't going to happen. When gay people can procreate without the help of the opposite sex...holla at me and I'll shout from the highest mountain I was wrong.

  • As controversial as it to talk about Gay people, let me clear something up. And please think about this very simple FACT. Man and Woman were made or created for each other for a specific reason, to procreate...it's that fucking simple. We wouldn't be having this conversation on youtube if your father didn't fuck your mother...that simple! My personal opinion is, and this may piss people off, but you can be born gay...it's a birth defect in my opinion.

  • the biggest difference between a teacher's union and a players union is that in the NFL, players who don't perform well get cut or benched, where as PISA reports that 95% of principals interviewed said they cannot get rid of ineffective teachers.

People have a right to unionize. But there power should be based on their ability to strike, not lobby congress for eroneous labor laws.

  • Are you kidding me, "teach what gay people have contributed", are you fucking joking. This country is fucked up! Teach what people have contributed not just gay people. African Americans are a race of people, not a sexuality. And stop comparing what Blacks went through to what Gay people went through, it is no FUCKING comparison.

  • @bev1906 Amen. I didn't see any "Jim Crow" laws for gays in my history books. the oft-cited Sodomy laws were across the board and proscribed Hetero perversions too. Were gays barred from restaurants? Did they have to sit on the back of the bus? This whole gay movement is such a contrived victim cult of self-esteemers. There never has been systematic discrimination against gays in U.S. Look at all the gay Hollywood stars from old times: Erol Flyn, Cary Grant, Fred Estaire etc..

  • @Pharoah7400 are you kidding? there has been no systematic discrimination of gays?! why can't people who identify as LGBT get married? why is it an issue for them to adopt? why can't they have hospital visit rights? there is definitely inequality that exists. why is it taboo or discriminative to call someone gay or a fag? um hello? that's what discrimination is buddy!!

  • @bev1906 Get your head out your ass. Marriage is the union of a man and a woman for the purposes of child birth. FACT. It's the oldest institution in civilization. Any gay man or woman can walk into a courthouse with a member of the opposite sex and get a marriage license. So how does that discriminate? It's equal rights vs. special rights. Gay people want SPECIAL RIGHTS: the right to redefine the concept of marriage for everyone else. Next people are gonna want to marry their pets.

  • @Pharoah7400 get your head out yours, because your tiredass regurgitated dogma is beginning to sound muffly. It all depends on time and place; in other cultures marriage was/is polygamus, between one and many people, that's their defination and norm, and values and norms change esp in modern, democratic societies. It's bogus to say marriage is the oldest institution; no one knows what the oldest institution is. And it's not a special right to have the same right that straight people have.

  • Polish mathematicians decoded NAZI coding machineENIGMa.

Poland Was SOLD by US. nad UK to Rusia!

On the Victory parade in London there was no Polish troops even that Poland had 4 largest Alliance army. France had smaller army than we did !!!

  • Chrystia Freeland is smokin hot!

  • I wouldn't take health advice from someone with that much skin damage, doctor or not.

  • Chrystia Freeland looks hot

  • This is what happens when you get 6 idiots talking about actual issues, they are wrong and other idiots buy into them. Example, prescribing bills instead of changing diet. I know many doctors that tell individuals to change their diets. I worked with an obese woman and every doctor she went too put her on a diet and zero pills. Maybe if these people actually worked and met real people in life they would know things like that.

  • gay ok.

transgender?! no. it's a mental disorder.

  • @1501007551 Says you Doctor 150100... whatever.

  • @BadlanAlun don't be proud of your ignorance dumbass

now go and read something about gender identity disorder

  • Regarding "teaching the contributions of gay Americans":

Uh, if a gay made a significant contribution to the world, wouldn't they be in a history book anyway? I mean, it seems to me, at least, that they're going out of their way to place more stories of gays in schools. Do we need to know if the man who cracked Nazi codes was gay? In what way does that knowledge expand on the contribution that got him in the book in the first place?

Sounds like complete far-left bullshit to me.

  • @xCreScenDo As a lefty... I completely agree with you here on this. Name me someone that is in a history book only because they are NOT gay.

  • no sorry gays are not a race and they where not enslaved there is no reason to teach children about how there where some great gay Americans you can mention they where gay but dont fucking create a course about it. the bottom comment is completely true lets fucking create courses about Great americans who where into BDSM, gays are a tiny minority and while In my opinion its fine for gay civil marriages it would be nice if they just tried to keep their shit to themselves a bit more

  • @waste0fspais I'm sorry did you just create the criteria for what gets included in school curricula? Because they're not a race, because they were/are not persecuted in the same way as black people were/are? Ridiculous. And keep up we're not talking about a course, we're talking about inclusion in history lessons. It's ignorance to equate gay and lesbian people simply with what sex they have. It's about love, family, and partnership and who they are as people. your bigotry is saddening.

  • wow they are stupid. they demean themselves by classifying themselves in a special group. what does gay have to do with anything? you minus well make a law that schools have to teach the contributions of people with red hair, or who were over 6 feet or under 6 feet, or maybe teach the contributions of people who were born with a cleff pallet or the contributions of people with cross eyes. why break down peoples contribution according to their birth defects and or physical/mental differences?

  • @slickbtk Because all of those types people you just listed haven't faced SEVERE discrimination and even violence for who they are, for having their character slandered by a majority religion for centuries, and it still continues to this day. We choose to include other minorities for the same reason, to slowly right wrongs and end ignorance about who these different minorities are and could be- contributing americans. You haven't thought this through.

  • @1978Autodidact "end ignorance" wow thats gotta be the most ignorant statement ive ever heard in my life. Anyway it is you who perpetuates this behavior because you insist on giving a person rights not based on their humanity but rather what group you assign to them. Especially since they are arguing to teach it in school, all this does is teach children at a young age that gays are a separate group and must be talked about not as individual people but rather a special group. think please

  • "In English schools they teach about gay English people who have contributed to society" - except in Catholic schools, since I never once heard that word from any teacher for 11 years

  • Maher is right about the pills issue....they actually reduce your lifespan b/c all pills have to be detoxified by your liver.

  • If you need to sign a bill in 2011 to tell you that gay people have done good things in the world, you are retarded. Not opposing the bill in itself, just sayin' it should have come forth naturally some...idk, four billion years ago?

  • Oh boy, do pills make money. For years I took Lotrel for high blood pressure. With insurance, $114 a month. Then it went generic, $104 (with insurance). A lovely nurse told me that Lotrel was just a combination of two common drugs put into one pill for convenience. I now take two bills at a cost (with Insurance) of $8 a month. 1500% profit . What's wrong with this picture?

  • Oh boy, do pills make money. For years I took Lotrel for high blood pressure. With insurance, $114 a month. Then it went generic, $104 (with insurance). • Mark Cuban was right. Legally mandating that gays to be acknowledged --- rather than just acknowledging great individuals who happened to be gay like Alan Turing --- could make book selection more costly & time consuming in right wing dominated districts & states.

Book selection committees are, remember, those the late Richard Feynman spoke out against, as he served briefly with them, years ago, he said. They care more about hyped/popular books than scientifically soundly written ones.

  • morning coffee with Bill Maher..just awesome..now i'm leaving a little more informed :)

  • Haha, Marc Maron is great! He got an awesome podcast, wtfpoddotcom, Marc has mentioned having Bill as his guest in a future that would be great to listen to, I went to a taping of Real Time last month, the audience is pretty far back from everything aside from the monologue lol

  • If we have gay history why not S & M fetisher's history...or incester's history...in fact let's give everyone with a sexual fetish their own history.

  • @Pharoah7400. We don't tell the history of heterosexuality in schools with cum-shots, or discuss the evolution of doggie-style into missionary, do we? LGBT is vast, nuanced, rich culture, much of it having nothing to do with genitalia or sexual lifestyle.

  • @PenguinHostage That's the silliest retort I've ever heard. Heteros don't call it hetero history...they call it history. It is the history of humanity, including people who have unconventional sexual proclivities, like gays. Look at Caligula, Nero, Alexander etc...they were all freaks. But to say that their sexual preferences defined their being is ludicrous. I believe you used the word "vast", which is appropos b/c "gayness" is not an identity. It's a fetish, a preference...

  • And one more thing Penguin--heteros, through their sexual activity, produce children...heirs, bastards, communities etc...whose position moves history. No one gives a shit if two heteros had great sex a Assyria. Or if some hetero woman was teabagged by some dude 2,000 years ago. This is what gay people want to teach. It's historical kinkiness.

  • @Pharoah7400 Sorry, your ignorance is showing. You can choose to ignore large amounts of scientific evidence- peer reviewed REAL RESEARCH AND FACTS- that show it's not a 'preference.'. I prefer the research of 1000's of scientists than your laughable 'history lessons.' We will include gay people in history to combat just your kind of ignorance to show the truth: that gay people are like any other american that can positively contribute to this country.

  • @1978Autodidact Yes I know. You can only answer by some sort of moral speechifying. You think an educated person like me would be impressed by the term "peer reviewed"? And what studies are these you speak of? How can a scientific study legitimize "gays" as a separate identity--as people that exist in their own biological world? You're so full of shit like all these liberal people jumping on the gay marriage bandwagon. It's just another gimmick to spur consumers to spend.

  • @Pharoah7400 Listen I agree with your views on teaching "gay history" in schools but to dismiss peer review is the height of ignorance. You call yourself an educated person yet openly dismiss one of the most important factors in the scientific method? This doesn't sound educated to me. Would you just so easily dismiss the theories of gravity, evolution, or germ theory all of which involved peer review? Whether you like it or not homosexuality is a matter of biology, Its been verified.

  • @Pharoah7400 Also to add, if you want to find studies showing genetic links with homosexuality it is as easy as combing through many science journals. The Journal "Nature" happens to be my favorite but there are many others. Here's a fun fact: when studies on the genetics of homosexuality were first being conducted the gay community feared that their lifestyle would be viewed as a disease so many homosexuals opposed such research. Funny how things change.

  • @adafuns The gay community may have opposed a genetic link to homosexuality; but they could only do so b/c there were just as many studies who couldn't find a link. "Gay" is not a biological identity. There are straight men who are as effeminite as women. Look at Prince. But now the gay community is propagating a witch hunt for anyone in popular culture who appears gay--b/c they are trying to commodify a label. The only biological alternative to man and woman is transexual--poor lost souls...

  • @Pharoah7400 Um, yes gay is a biological identity. It has nothing to do with femininity. There are men who are very masculine yet are still gay. I think your confusing gender identity with sexual preference (they are not the same thing). Like I said in my other comment there are many studies showing a genetic link.I suggest you do some searching round in the many biological science journals. Just to be more clear, its pretty much unanimous now that sexuality is genetic in the science community.

  • @Pharoah7400

"Gay" is an orientation, not a fetish.

  • @OpticonDev BS. It's semantics. You take a small part of someone, the fact that they like homosexual sex and turn it into an all-encompassing identity. Well I'm a left hander. Where's my history? Where's LEFTHANDER'S History? You see how silly it sounds. Gay people have been hidden from history books b/c they've NEVER been a legitimate identity, like African-American or Women. It's completely contrived.

  • @OpticonDev whats the difference between a orientation and a fetish?

  • @Pharoah7400 get a brain ya fucking moran!

  • @oneirishpoet MORON it's spelled m-o-r-o-n.

  • Another significant gay....Michelle bachmanns husband.

  • not trying to start a shit, but after this show and watching overtime i felt "okay dan savage, we get it- you are gay"

  • According to homosexuals, every cultural icon was actually gay. Stop speculating, you idiots.

  • Alan Turing devised a number of techniques for breaking German ciphers...Turing is considered to be the father of computer science and AI.he was prosecuted in 1952, when homosexual acts were still illegal in the UK. He accepted treatment with female hormones (chemical castration) as an alternative to prison. He died in 1954, just over two weeks before his 42nd birthday, from cyanide poisoning.

  • @ancientcommodity Gotta love wikipedia eh? Copy and paste? What are the chances I search and read about Alan Turing on wikipedia and then I read the first comment on this video to find sentences word for word from it. It's like a won a lottery ^^

  • @requshei i do....it makes research so much easier...although i did shorten united kingdom to UK....guess i'd get a D- in class...but its better than a president who pretends to know all the background when he is getting is info from biased misinformed intelligent design promoters....appreciate the keen eye..even though i know i couldn't do what bill Maher does..it is still fun to see what he does and doesn't know..

  • @ancientcommodity Yea, it's a sad world when I have to double check everything on wikipedia and sometimes google just in case something might be out of sorts. Can't take anybody's words seriously anymore. Heh, for an average person like me wikipedia is my own library at home. <<< This is probably not good... My last search on wiki was chemical castration...

  • Thank you again Bill for the openess of your panels. I don't feel that any of your panelist are scared of losing their jobs, like Beck did. A good common sense approach to all the issues that Washington can not solve. I'll be glad when the aliens take over this mess that politicans, scientist, war mongers, and secret organizations have created in the name of their private Gods.

  • bring cenk!

  • My man Bill "

  • Dr. Campbell is a G. He had me dying laughing at the end Lol.

  • They can teach about the contributions of all of America's closet gay public officials. J. Edgar Hoover, Ted Haggard, Jim McGreevey, Mark Foley, Eddie Long, etc. etc.

  • Cenk Uygur needs to be on the panel!

  • @Jadezoo Too strong!

  • @Jadezoo yes!

  • @Jadezoo HOLY FUCK... that would be awesome! how have i not thought of that??? well played, sir

  • @Jadezoo why?

  • @THEBIGCAGEY What changed for you?

  • And btw, pills are a lot easier (and more fun).

  • James Buchanan was gay.

  • Ban war profits or tax them 98%

  • Savage definitely overstepped on Alan Turing. He made a hug contribution in an organization of many people that HELPED win the war. No singular person, group, or country won the second world war. Everyone involved did their part.

  • Bill, I take your show now about as serious as the Love Boat episodes you starred in ....hey Maher fans remember where your " Hero " came from

  • Way to stick it up to the rich prick, Bill! XD

  • Dear God is doctor colin alive at the end of the table guy looks like he's in the twilight zone.

  • When Mark Cuban does that BITE grin he has the most punchable face ever.

  • We need to get all the people who care about this world together, and make a Network that Exposes Nothing But the Full Truth and Goes after Everyone (no matter who). We need a Truth-Telling Investigative-Media whose only Agenda is to the Truth and to work ONLY for all the Average People. This Network will be Funded by a Trust like the Guardian Newspaper is. We will have Olbermann, Cenk, Dylan Ratigan, Jeremy Scahill, Amy Goodman, Glenn Greenwald, Chris Hedges, SOTT, GlobalResearch & Naomi Klein.

  • Cink's YoungTurk show is much better than his MSNBC program anyhow

  • cenk uygur.

  • ohh this looked like a good show!

  • @THEBIGCAGEY then GTFO real time vids

  • that old guy is my favorite doctor.

  • what about the benefits about being a heterosexual ?

and what about history black month

a trouble of accepting gay people that they exist ?

    please shut the fuck up

if you dont want my kid to be taught to pray or one nation under god

then teaching kids about homosexuality being morally okay should NOT be taught

  • @RayWilliamJohansen it's quite difficult to understand what you're saying. The bill is not to make teachers lecture that being homosexual is awesome and everyone should do it, it's to allow the contributions made by them and those like them to be brought to light. Black history month is a joke, you'll hear about MLKJr and Malcom X, and that's about it. Being homosexual is not morally okay, nor is it morally wrong, it's a genetic imperative, not a moral conundrum.

  • @hollowloki

then we should speak about how heterosexuals have contributed

    and like you said

no one really talks about black history

and i never once mentioned they were trying to say being gay was awesome etc

all i am saying it should not be mandatory

and i hate how everyone is all like

if you are against gay marriage you are ignorant etc

please shut the fuck up ( not you but people who bitch me about my beliefs - i was born a "homophobe" )

and what about trannys, transexuals etc

  • @RayWilliamJohansen I agree this kind of mandatory "talk about women/gay people/black people contributions to our country" it's a liberal nonsense. History should be thaugth without bias, be it sexist, homophobic or white supremacist. But... anyone against gay marriage IS a homophobic, and homophobics are seldom intelligent and well-informed people.

  • Respond to this video...

what if your mom and dad were gay

and decided to have a sex change

( i am not saying gay people think they are the opposite sex etc this is just an example )

who would you call mom and who would you call dad

do our sexual organs define someone as a man or as a women

does the word female mean anything anymore

what if someone dresses like a female

    but is a man

the list goes on and on

  • @RayWilliamJohansen No the list does not go on it pretty much ends there with that one irrelevant point that you chained multiple lines with to make it look like more than one point. Whether you call your parent a mother or a father is also irrelevant and whether you naturally develop a better relationship with your mother or father is based on culture. What matters is that they are a good parent to their children.

  • @edgezors

i changed multiple lines to make it look like more than one point ?

or maybe you just know i am right

or maybe i am just more intelligent

kids will ask these questions and so will teenagers

and this also why i said

it might not be morally okay to shove your ideas on young children

just like you dont want GOD to be taught in schools or in our government ( even thought it was a christian nation ) - and no i am not a christian

    so please try to think

  • @RayWilliamJohansen The USA is not a christian nation, it was born and forged into a secular one, only in the last 50 to 80 years has it become more theocratic than it was at first. I doubt that you are anywhere near as intelligent as you think you are. It's expected for people to want to know how the world works, its just sad that the amount of adults that do or even can is insignificant compared to those that thump their bibles, join the westboro baptist church, and everything else they do

  • @hollowloki

hmm i never said the usa is a christian nation i said it was

and most of the founding fathers were christians

    the people who came here

    came because of religious persecution

but schools have long forgotten that and it does bother me

    even though i am agnostic

and it is funny how you compare ignorant people to christian as if they knew nothing about how the world works

some of the most brightest people were christians etc
