  • Why can't we fish the right way and release them after you catch them, WITH A ROD!!!!

  • @EdGoneNuts Have you ever been to those places that sell fish? or have you ever eaten a fish you haven't caught your self or have you ever had a tin of Tuna. people want to eat fish and at least long line fishing doesn't destroy the ocean environment as much as net dragging

  • @nitrodavid DUH!! i knew that!!!

  • stupid fishermans, pitiful people, without a righteous mind, destroying our planet like a cancer!

  • This video neglects to mention all of the bycatch... sadly it is not just pollock and Cod conveniently biting, its every fish, turtle, shark or bird nearby.

  • Cod is extinct in Canada. We use to have lots. Hope you learn from our lesson and manage your fishery...

  • Go eat some grass bolexx. We and millions of others will eat the fish (DICK HEAD)!!

  • Nice video of gutting fish filled with roe and milt prior to spawning

  • nice video, i also am a longline fisherman we just do it alot different way on smaller boats

  • longliners raping the oceans!, well done dickheads.

  • let the world eat chicken. That is just pathetic.

  • omg this is so cruel my agent in southern california would be furious! lol just kiddin this is bad ass, wish I was a long line worker

  • What boat is this? very good space in the back of the boat! the freeze room was very special.. big tanks instead of small "rooms" for the ice and fish.. but this boat is probably built for regualar block frozen fish, but anyway.. looks very difficult to work like that if it's lot of fish.. maybe a small boat with few hooks

  • how great is the distance between the hooks

  • its a cod not a tuna

  • What type of fish was that that was caught being hooked. To me it doesn't look like a tuna, or I'm just blind.

  • how would i go about getting a job on a long liner

  • @JERSEYBOY1990 I was a deckhand on the Santo Rocco in winter 2010, just gotta be willing to work and handle the sea sickness and any experienced laboror can do it. just speak to the right people. try hangin out at Sydney fish market and speakin to Chug or Luke Ruts
