@TheEmmaMaher Dont give up! get experience and if you cant get an agent there just build up expierience until you are old enough to move to the states or somewhere that you can. @MegaCarzygirl thats awesome! :) i just got an agent and im 13, and ive been trying to get an agent since i was 10 too. The problem was i didn't have any training other than singing and i only had one play for my experience but once i got alot of plays skits and church things plus more choir and acting CLASSES ( YOU NEED THEM! ) and GOOD PROFESSIONAL headshots, i finally got one! so my main point is even tho u r good, get classes. u need experience and headshots. GO FOR IT GIRL! :)

@BigTimeCrush4 if you are serious about acting you cant just focus on nick or the disney channel or something like that because thats not guaranteed and anything is just as good as the disney channel and once you get an agent they wont specifically look for disney auditions or nick auditions, they will send you off to anything you qualify for. And just because you like the show doesn't mean you should get an agent and take classes and so on just to be on the show if your not serious about acting

lol itt: a bunch of kids who will fail at their dreams, what you guys need to realize is that you will fail if you have no passion for acting and just want to be famous, and/or are a bad actor now yes sometimes ppl do get by just w/ looks but the majority cant if you are planing on going into acting you need to be sexy/good for drama funny/good for comedy sexy for action and sexy/good for romance. so i hate to break it to you ladies but if you're not hot you will fail unless you do comedy.

I'm 24 and I always wanted to be an actress. I took Drama in Jr. High & High School. Also everyone that I meet always asks me if I've ever considered acting. Yes I have. It is quite difficult though because of my Lupus among 2 other things. But I have performed before at a library in Livonia Michigan, which I know sounds funny as they always say 'hush!'. @dancerliza27 Miley Cyrus started auditioning when she was 9. ( you can search her first audition she was 9 ) but anyway I think you have a chance. I want the same thing but I am in the middle of nowhere Mississippi. I think you would have a better chance than me. There are probably more opportunities there than here. Anyway I believe I can do it and you should too! Keep trying!

@Bieberbabes777 Other than John Robert Powers John Casbloncas is one of the most well known scams. I went to John Robert Powers after I heard it was a scam because I wasn't shure. When I heard it was a scam they said they would tell me only 9 ppl made it and I was one of them, and shure enough, they did. You were right to give it up because they would have told you to take expensive acting classes like they told me. Keep looking. Good luck
