AROS is an open source re-implementation of Amiga OS 3.1 that is designed to be compatible at an API level. An Amiga 68k port of AROS would be able to run classic Amiga software out of the box.
It is often seen as the Amiga OS for x86 because that is where most of the development and interest takes place due to performance, availability and price of x86 hardware.
AROS on A PPC Platform? the same has a GENUINE Amiga OS (AMIGA OS 4.1)
So... whats the point of this? i thought AROS was an x86 amiga ALIKE OS?
