I thought the black d00d was the movie version of, The Kingpin. I thought it was wierd then that Scarlet Witch was dancing for him. I still think this is weird now.

For those expecting this to be a Rom dance, please remember this woman is depicting a Gypsy comic book character named The Scarlet Witch. Superhero comics are often not accurate when it comes to depicting cultures outside of America. The woman was taking part in a costume contest where being accurate to the comic book character is of great importance. I uploaded this video for comic book enthusiasts. I'm sorry if the title causes some confusion, but it does accurately describe the video.

Our women, culturally, do not display themselves like that. It is ok for the dancer in this video to do so but to represent the dance and the outfit as "Gypsy" is wrong.

Beautiful costume (a tad racy with the open sides, but beuatiful nonetheless) and a nice bit of dancing. May I ask why you didn't finish the song or at least have some sort of exit other than just walking offstage? Perhaps it was a bad case of nerves? Great job aside from the exit!

She said that she was kind of thrown up on stage and didn't have any time to prepare. It's also very difficult to dance in that costume. I think she's altered it a bit since then. Hopefully she'll do a full video soon.

It was a costume contest at a comics convention (the costume is accurate to the Marvel comic books), and each entry only had 60 seconds IIRC. I wasn't sure how much time had passed so I simply walked off when I thought I'd gotten to the time limit. Was a bit discombobulated as well as morganskye points out; they didn't have a specific order so I had to just run up there.

Nonetheless it's not my best work. I would like to dance in this costume again, don't know when it'll be.

It showed me that Scarlet Witch really does tranlate visually well into reality. She has a mystical feel and yet is still a "spandex hero". Glad to see that ethnic feel- I wouldve picked her to win! Its Perez Scarlet Witch!

And I should probably apologize. I had no idea this clip would get this much attention. I honestly never promoted it publicly. I just put it up and was going to link to it when the con report was done and online. That people found it and got this level of attention really amazes me.
