I wasn't suggesting you play a "slow version". There's a lot of room between "slow" and your performance's tempo. People play music for many reasons, though. In this case it seemed to me you were playing primarily to demonstrate your technical skills, with the music itself as an afterthought. But I'm just a listener. As the performers, you know what your real intentions were.
