  • they're wonderful, thank you!

  • And to think people thought it was crazy that the turkey almost became our national bird.

  • Glad you chose to shoot them with a camera instead of a gun.

  • What's it gonna take to impress these hens? Ah, women. Never satisfied!

  • They're so gloriously fat. I love it!

  • Nice photography and great idea to add the waltz. Life is madness with an occassional waltz.

  • Very cute and fun!

  • Female turkey: "Please leave me alone."

  • They just want some puzzy!

  • Never realized how cute a wild turkey can be.

  • Lol it's like "Ey ladies lets make love" then they rape the shit out of them

  • shoot that big f eeeeerrrrrr

  • I hunt and I still enjoy watching more than enything else

  • Cute!

  • I love the beginning ...the males are going after the females ..is so funny! "Hey baby, what's going on? You like how I look?" LOL Then, the other ones right next to him doing the same thing.

  • So funny! I actually didn't know turkeys could fly.

  • cool i have turkeys at my grammparents house and there are babys now thay are so fuzzy

  • Yet the hens seem unimpressed... perfect music!

  • One day soon I will be vegan.

  • Awesome! You can do it, and the animals--and environment--will thank you!

  • @722erodz vegan sorry but your engagement is really defeat!!

i even would give support but i'm busy grilling

  • u should go chase em around for a bit LOL

  • Thank you, I very much ejoyed watching the turkeys and also your choice of music. I responded with 2 of my own turkey videos - I hope you enjoy them!

  • TURKEY LOVER!

  • So Henry VIII

  • wow,

  • Aw, that is crazy beautiful! Those toms are like "looka me, looka me!" and the hens - "meh. Where'd that worm go??" Lovely waltz, too. Thanks for the giggle, and thanks to phaedress for sending me by!

  • Thanks! You should hear them, I call them the boola-boola birds, tho their sound is often a boola-googoola, if you will. They are my morning signal to get up, and the night's last delight (as they fly up to the trees) as I put the chickens to bed.

  • I've awakened to the turkey quest for sun and food - it's quite pastoral, when you're in the country! They are becoming termed as pests in our area (but I don't think so!) as they are multiplying so quickly - I saw three foraging by the freeway last week ... and I mean *right by* the speeding cars!

  • impressive plummage!!! Nice vid:)))

  • Thanks! They are fun to watch.

  • omg! this is funny...and I feel like a monster 'cause I'm looking at those proud, rounded chests and thinking YUM!

    good music choice

  • I've been told the wild turkeys taste "gamey", not at all like our domestic table treats. I feel odd eating chicken, cooking it, now that I keep chickens as pets.

  • Your chickens are pets? I didn't realise; thought you were raising them for food.

  • Nope, just for their eggs and the fun they bring to being outdoors. I can't bring myself to kill things like animals, even reptiles (a nasty snake in my garden last week). I just give them room to escape, and hope for the best.

  • Hey, phae, me too! crazymml is right though, they need extra special cooking because they're not as succulent as caged turkeys. Hard to catch too.

  • You are both such Wild Women!

me, I'm just an urban turkey. :)

  • Urban turkeys are more ... succulent. I said that!

  • From time to time they looked like peacocks...

  • Yes, I agree. And what I've seen of peacocks, they do a similar "parade".

  • Great video but it looks like the girls aren't buying it!

  • LOL, you are so right! But then they see it all every day.... Thanks.

  • Cool vid, I've missed your videos!!

  • Thank you. Been gone too long.

  • Magnificent! Reminds me of my college days, hanging around the UC and trying to impress the girls. My running buddy was a fellow trumpet player named Tom(!). We both were sporting beards, thought we were all that , strutting around, showing our tailfeathers, and did have a reputation in some circles as a couple of marching band turkeys! Ah, nostalgia! Seriously, good to see you posting again, thanks for the video.

  • Thank you. Didn't we all do "the dance", with our finery and glancing eye flirtations, indeed! Long time ago for me, but oh the fun and foolishness of it (that we took so seriously). I love the animals, they are so upfront about the need to impress a potential mate.

  • That is a very cool video:):)

  • Hey, thanks! Good to hear from you.

  • great music choice! they indeed look like ladie's fans

  • Thanks, Strauss is still a favorite of mine.
