  • I am both a Harley-Davidson & Victory Rider. I love both of my bikes! The '03 Ultra Classic is a strong runner. I've ridden 1500 miles in 23 hrs 38 min, as per Iron Butt Association verification. But I love my Victory Highball. I have never been so captivated by a bike, as I have been by the Highball. It is a real screamer. Go to RTStrongDog videos for a comparison of the exhaust and more. I moved mountains to get the Highball, and I'm damn glad I did!

  • Funny how anonymous youtube comments about certain things, such as this motorcycle, often are 180 degrees from what a known professional commented.

  • @oeyesea

    u are nothing but a jerk , i feel sorry for u

  • There are plenty of vids on here showing one person picking the bike up off the tip guards. This is one sweet smoooooth ride. Far and away the most advanced American bike.

  • Does anyone know when this show will be back on Speed TV???

  • The looks aren't for everyone. I have to admit I have always been an HD guy, and over 15 years ago when I bought a Tour Glide everyone told me how ugly it was, now look...everyone is riding the Road Glide, the same bike they all chided just a few years ago. I'm sure that in a few years all the Johnny comelatelys will be riding Visions and bragging about how they were Victory guys since "back in the day". I still own two Shovels, including the Tour Glide, but I sure do love my Vision!

  • Why didn't American Thunder show the guy not only picking up the bike by himself when he laid it over on it side to show the "Tip Over" feature but show him applying the kick stand by himself too?? Or did he actually have help because the bike is too heavy? Every video I see where they show the tip-over feature they never show the rider applying the kick stand from the pick up position??

  • @majorghn

So what if he did need help or not. I suppose that little maneuver smashing the entire side of an 800lb Electraglide or Goldwing is more acceptable as long as the Harley or the Goldwing can be picked up "AND" put on the kick stand by one guy ? I think you are missing the point of "***ZERO DAMAGE***" Be sides that, do you honestly believe that a smashed up Electraglide or Goldwing would be any easier to pick up with the grip all the way down on the asphalt ?

  • @majorghn You really should go to the victory web site and watch that little test where they knock over a Goldwing, an Electraglide, and a BMW bagger. Those bikes were detroyed...the Goldwing looked like it wanted to roll completely up-side-down. In this video he sets it down nicely....on the Victory web site it is on the kickstand and they just step up to the bike on the kickstand side and simply push it over. Still no damage and it landed on that tip over protection HARD.

  • Now that's a BIKE!!!!

  • I`ve spent 2o years riding Harleys. I was working in an independant Harley shop while Victory was developing their prototype engine and followed it in the trade magazines. I knew then Victor had a better engine than Harley will ever build. Las year I rode a Kingpin tour, it was the best motorcycle I had ever ridden. This year I rode a Cross Roads, Vision and a Cross Country. I can`t wait to own a Vision.

  • @IronHorseman223 ride it over to mexico hahaha

  • @2010PINKFURY You are badly misinformed. Polaris if moving it`s ATV line to Mexico, Victory motorcycles are staying in the USA. Now let`s talk about the Jap forks, shocks and carburetor that came on my Harley. Of coures there were those Italian lightweights that Harley imported in the 60`s-70`s. And let`s not forget that last month Harley put the state of Wisconsin on notice that they would leave the state if they couldn`t reduce cost.

  • @IronHorseman223 what does this have to do with Harley? Victory claiming to be the new american motorcycle. It should of been the new metric motorcycle.

  • @2010PINKFURY

OK I`ll take the bait. Victory is more American than Harley why should it be " The New Metric Motorcycle"? After all Victory is built right here in the USA

  • @IronHorseman223 Victory is 35% metric - Victory parts like the mirrors will fit any foreign bike. In a Harley world victory is as foreign as a kawasaki

  • @2010PINKFURY

OK got it anything that doesn`t say Hardley-Rideable on the gas tank or that isn`t a Hardley clone is metric. You do know that GM , Ford and Chrysler switched to the metric system in the 80`s?

  • @IronHorseman223 RED KILL SWITCH? AREN'T THOSE FOUND ON ALL FOREIGN BIKES. ALSO, FOR THAT PRICE NO FUEL GAUGE?HAHHAHHAHHA

  • @2010PINKFURY

The Vision that I rode had a fuel gauge and dual trip meters as well as a trip computer. Who cares what color the kill switch is as long as it works.

  • @IronHorseman223 made in M-E-X-I-C-O hahaha

  • @2010PINKFURY

That`s right my" Genuine Harley-Davisidson Screamin` Eagle" ign coil was mader in Mexico.

  • @IronHorseman223 The "New mexico motorcycle" Now that sounds good.

  • @2010PINKFURY

    Fortunately it isn`t true.

  • Laying off one thousand American workers to be replaced by cheap mexican labor says it all. Screw polaris I knew something was up when the 2010 Victory Jackpot came out with a color option of Tequila gold with extreme graphics.

  • @2010PINKFURY

The "Screamin` Eagle " ign coil on my Harley says " Made in Mexico". The last piece of " Genuine Motorclothes" I bought said " Made in Bangledesh". Your probably not old enough to remember when Harley brought out their " Eagle Iron" line of parts and accesories that were made in Taiwan.

  • Okay, now that Harley has shut down Buell production will Victory offer a comparable line of sport bikes? Some people feel that the cruiser market is going to shrink in the future. Plus, what good is having "Victory" as a company name without competing. If Vic's engineers are as creative as Buell things could be quite interesting.

  • Made in Mexico !! Polaris is laying off 500 employees and going to Mexico.

  • So now that Vic is closing down half its US operations in order to have a plant in Mexico I wonder if the cost is going to come down. Probably not is my guess. Adios Victoria

  • Criteria for owning a Harley: False sense of patriotism, insecurity, low IQ, close-mindedness, be a racist. The biggest problem I have with HD is their owners. Finding an HD rider who is not an ignorant, arrogant asshole is hard to do. Harley is not marketing to the modern younger rider. That is why their stock is in the basement and they have to layoff workers.

  • i like the victory, but i wasn't impressed by it's road manners. it handled a bit too "heavy" for my tastes. i looked at harleys, too, but eventually settled on a triumph rocket 3 and haven't looked back since.

the rocket handles like a bike half it's size and when you twist the throttle hard, you learn the meaning of the phrase "The Hand of God" !!

  • Defect complaints in H-D Screamin' Eagles

The current investigation concerns a defect referred to as the CVO, Screamin' Eagle or 110" defect (CVO 110 cubic inch engine). Consumers have experienced problems with their Screamin' Eagle bikes that include:

    * oil leaks at rear cylinder (most of the oil leaks seem to appear by the first 5,000 miles)

    * rear cylinder head gasket failure

    * burning oil

    * engine stalls, and

    * overheating engines.

Lieff Cabraser Heimann & Bernstein, LLP,

  • I still have a '97 Ultra. It's parked and uninsured. I'll try to sell it in the spring. If they can stop the CVO 110" engines from blowing up the rear jug - I might buy an '11 model. I favorited the HD video to check back for comments later. I have too much spam already.

Nice to have the official YouTube HD "pecker sniffer" tugging on my zipper.

  • I don't watch HD videos because I'm happy with my Victory Vision.

    Must SUCK to be YOU!!!

Sorry Harley. You're too low class and ignorant to qualify for Victory ownership.

Maybe you can trade your "Super Glide" (isn't that a also a brand of condoms?) for a discontinued Buell. There selling for 30% off sticker where I live. Just trying to lift your spirits and help out a wanna be biker.

  • Let see a video of that gay vision mobile HAHAH

  • @tcbferrari says he don't watch Harley videso but..one of his favorite video is a 2010 Harley davidson screamin eagle ultra classic. The comment he made on this video is(i ride a victory now, but your new hd is truly a great looking bike.

tcbferrari you are truly a LOSER!!

  • Lying sack of shit!!

  • @Gypscrews why i am looking to buy one what ya think ?

  • You REALLY like playing with stuff made in China don't you???

  • My victory shirt is made in PAKISTAN AND CHINA HAHAHA.

  • WOW!!!

You're on your 5TH different user name now Cyclops!!!

It must really suck to be you.

  • wow!! i play on the playstation forum thanks mom for letting me:)

  • moonrunrs, you'll find any Victory will be a huge improvement over your Harley powered Buell. The Rotax engine used in the 1125 R was a case of too little two late to save the brand. Eric Buell should have demanded the V-Rod engines years ago.

  • I love my Firebolt & prefer the air cooled Thunderstorm for its low maintenance over the Rotax. Comparing Buell to Vic is apples and oranges, though. Buell is sport, Vic makes cruisers. My XB is pure streetfighter & was not designed for long rides; I want another bike for touring or at least long trips. I like sport cruisers like the Hammer, FXDX and V-Rod. The 8-Ball is cool too. Vic seems to have great design/engineers & it would be cool to see them enter other markets besides cruisers.

  • These bikes sound awesome and like they are the future of American cruisers.

I want technological innovation, reliability, styling and affordability.

I ride a Buell and was considering a Harley cruiser in the future, but probably not now. I just wish there were more Victory dealers around for service and maintenance. It'd be great if Victory got into the sportbike market in the future.

  • Sorry guys, I am a woman really and I just don't have many friends. They all make fun of me cause I wear spandex. My HD recently crapped out and now I am considering a Victory or any other type of motorcycle.

I sit in my basement listening to AC/DC cause I have no friends and I only ride my bike around town. I never even went 200 miles. :(

I have to get going cause my father which I found out was gay, he is making me some hot chocolate.

my videos are fake, I was on a test ride...:(

  • HarleyDavidsonDaBest got one sweet Harley Davidson bike. I don't have a video because i don't have a bike just a playstation.

  • moonrunrs..these polaris bikes are horrible...they will not go into neutral, a lot of noise from the tranny because chains, they have plastic turn signals w/rubber stems, round bitton lights like honda for gauges,

  • Do you own one?

  • I did but i had so much problem with it i had to get rid of it-true story.

  • What model did you own? Was it a pre-2003, before the Vegas came out?

  • They popping from the exhaust, the bike has a hard time going into neutral, A lot of transmission noise. I cannot stand that red kill switch that is a foreign bike trademark.

  • What? No, I asked what model you owned.

  • 07 Jackpot. I called it the crackpot.

  • @Gypscrews

The emergency stop button on every machine in the factory whewre I work is red. Who cares about the kill switch as long as it works?

  • @VegasLow08 Wheres is the video of your 33% metric bike?

  • I've found a video site with no "I'm pissed I didn't buy a Victory" trolls.

    Good luck.

Hope your Hardley's Chinese crankshaft doesn't walk the counterweights or your Italian brakes fall off. You really and truly just don't have a clue do you???

  • victory is way better then Harley in every way they cleaned up the look of cruisers they set the tone of the future of motorcycles, they have way better technology with the comfort and style, the tank for one thing is beautiful on how it fades in with the seat. victory is worth buying. i recommend it if you plan on buying a bike.

  • You've made negative comments on every Vic site that I have seen so far. If you are so happy with your Harley, fine, keep it but not everyone wants a Harley. Deal with it. Brand loyalty is OK for some. You just don't have to put everything else down to support HD. Your criticisms become rather boring since you do it on every Victory site.

  • Comment removed

  • Yes "gay" as in happy. I don't care for the pejorative use of the term. Sorry that you are so unhappy. Your adolescent criticisms won't defocus from the fact that Victory is really stepping up their game. I like Harley too. They are just too expensive to buy and repair. I have had three Harleys and own one now. Two of them were nightmares including the one I currently have. I just need something more reliable. I could care less about image or what your opinion is.

  • Thank you for your up-front feedback and permission to do what I will do. Like I needed it or care - at all. I simply don't share your homophobic attitude or motorcycle bigotry. You might want to try some Viagra to boost your manliness instead of on-line insults. Bye ......

  • Where do these Harley trolls come from??? Aguy pulled up next to me on his loaded Ultra last week (I ride a Hammer S). I told him it was a good-looking bike (it was), but I just could not take my eyes off the way the engine shakes, and jumps, on those mounts, at idle! When he pulled off, the bike rolled left, and, well, that just never ceases to amaze me! I wanted a Rocker C (at 1st), but, the Victory tech, power, and style won me over!

  • @chi28n2k Then theres the aftermarket. Nothing that is made for Harleys fits a Victory. All of those 800-page catalogs from Drag Specialties, Bikers Choice, CCI, and others feature gazillions of parts and accessories, none of which fits Victories. Or any foreign bike. In this sense you could argue that in the Harley world a Victory is as foreign as a Kawasaki.

  • @HarleyDavidsonRockz

Your logic is flawed. By your thinking a Mustang is foriegn because you can`t buy parts from your local Chevy dealer.

"Then theres the aftermarket. Nothing that is made for Harleys fits a Victory. All of those 800-page catalogs from Drag Specialties, Bikers Choice, CCI, and others feature gazillions of parts and accessories, none of which fits Victories. "

  • JUNK!!!

  • I rode the Vision Tour a little- the suspension was A MAY ZING. Made my Bandit 600S, which I love, feel like a piece of crap.

  • looks like a big IUD

  • yea sorry..blah blah blah.

  • LMAO victory is more american made than HD. i love HD but the sad thing is that victory has only been around for 10 years and there already faster, smoother and have better tech than HD. go test ride one. you will love it

  • ok so its a "metric sized" bike. You make it sound like a disease haha.

  • THe vision is such an ugly bike.. makes a goldwing look like a a supermodel. though the tech that goes itnto these bikes is awesome and HD could really learn from them when it comes to the "finish and quality" of its components, because they suck on a Harley! As much as i like my HD.. fucking makes me sick that HD is resting on their backside and milking consumers for a bike thats way overpriced for the below par finish they have on their bikes.

  • Quote:"Metric to some is a label for forgien made"

Others, know the facts( h-d has more foreign made parts !) and are not concerned with lables and tank badges. You guys are image concious suckers milked by the motor company's,marketting machine. keep telling yourself all the hd jeans,t-shirts, playing cards and toilet seats mean something...

    Ride what you want...

    amf Flh P.O.S.

  • I hope so too. You can't replace the romance and alure of Harley Style. They are like a pair of comfortable Levi's. I am interested in something with a bit of a unique look. I am still not sure if a Vision is the right thing for me. I do like the Kingpin and Jackpot but I am interested in touring but I am bored with the same old Road King look. Thanks for your last comment.

  • Does the 15% of non American made parts on a HD bug ya? Not to say that Victory is likely any different. We are in a world economy.

Your remark is "picking the fly poop out of the pepper" IMHO.

I am not slamming HD or the culture but I fail to see your point.

  • The HD brand and culture is iconic for sure. I welcome a bike manufacturer that is bringing some new stuff to the table. Not to mention the fact that I have an opportunity to try something new and support an American made product. That is a win in my book.

  • The 10th anniversarry edition Vision sold out in 7 minutes. When people vote with wallets like that the competition better pay attention. Victory has 95% customer satisfaction, 5 year warranty, less maintanance and a pretty smoking hot design. They are onto something. I am looking at one as we speak. I have my minor crisisms of the bike but it a sweet ride. I hope they get HD and Honda off of their ass and drive some new innovation that has been needed for a long time.
