the second half reminds me a bit of Taal (perhaps because I just saw that movie). SRK is like Akshaye Khanna, Salmaan Khan is like Anil Kapoor, Kajol is like Aishwaraya Rai.

In fact, the conversation between Kajol and her mother is VERY similar to the conversation Anil and Aishwaraya have in the car at the end of the movie.

In the movie they were displaying multiple religions. Islam teaches that a child's prayer will stand a better chance of being answered by god because they are innocent. It also teaches that we are all born muslim, but rather follow what are parents teach us later in life. So a child,no matter what the religion..if they pray the islamic way their prayers will be answered.

Thats because India is a pluralistic country and takes every opportunity to respect all faiths and particulalry Bollywood usually tries to bring people of different faiths as they are all valid faith.
