Just saying one thing to clarify, the XM-8 is an American assault rifle modified from the German G36 series in an attempt to find a replacement for the M4 in the special operations units.

Also, i think they took the hand guard and some of the external features from the XM-8 while the rest of the gun including the magwell, trigger assembly and buttstock were pulled from the Belgian FN F2000 which also shares a similar but not exactly identical round. MA5B = 7.62, F2000 = 5.56 NATO

There are variants of the assault rifle you retards, The MA5B had 60 rounds. The MA5C only had 24/32 but was more accurate. Before you try to correct others, get your facts right. Plus it could have been a typo aswell.
