This was around the time when the movie "Key Largo" came out

with Edward G. Robinson's classic portrayal of "Johnny Rocco",

a notorious gangster.

The similarity to the real Edward G. Robinson in this is hilarious,

and he must have cherished this cartoon version of himself.

(Matter of fact it was Warner Brothers who produced "Key Largo").
