That's how tanks always know exactly where I am on a map. I've had a few times where a tank will drive by me while I'm hidden and stop right infront of me and immediately shoot in my direction. WOW. That explains SOOOO much!

I play on xbox and I noticed that the mines are not showing with thermal vision equipped but other stuff like ammo does. I saw commentary on pc where they did show, is this a bug that is going to be fixed?

can anyone explain how sometimes I have a motion sensor on my tank when my perks are: optics,lmg and reactive armor???????? my mind is always blown when sometimes I have a motion sensor on my tank.. can anyone explain? can't be a u-tugs... is it just a glich or whut?

@webbyman I think it could have been a deployed tugs or someone else in the tank with you. I'm pretty sure you get any veh. perks that any passenger has picked plus your own. It definitely pays to have some strategy about what veh perks you and your squad r using if planning on running a veh. together.

@MAL1C10US1NT3NT I need to do some investigating.. Its weird - can you deploy tugs on a tank.. whut? the thing is it happens sometimes when nobody else is in my tank.. I've had other cool glitches too: get super optics on tanks sometimes - like a 12x zoom and I've had in for red on the AMTRACK before too :D

If you have multiple people in your tank...does each vehicle spec, gadget and weapon apply? What I mean is if one teammate has smoke and another armor...does the tank have both?

I traded my 3 good games to buy this bf3, however the action is missing..

it takes ages to go from one flag to another, specially caspian, Kharg & Firestorm maps

Vehicles are only at the spawn......

rather vehicles should be placed at the flags...

my world ranking is 1000 in 5 days of gameplay, with 12000 kills.

caspian border, operation firestorm, kharg are not meant for 12 players in one team.

4 players are always occupied with jets, helicopter and stationary AA GUN.

2 are always campers sniping

remaining 6 players play the game, so maps are pretty much empty

by the way, my dog tag is 150 times 1st Position.

I am not the best player, but not bad either my friend.

@adamr1994 Thats why you get in a party with friends, But I know what you mean if your friends or squad mates arnt around and your in with some random, I had this random in with me the other day and he did have a repair tool, but guess what ? He only decided to get out and start repairing when we where like 18% health, and guess what happened next, yes we both got blown away. If Im in with some random now I either drive him out the map till he gets out or I jump out.

Your tactics on this map are exactly what i use, but my team trys to take C and i tell them its not necessary but they dont listen lol.. Btw use thermal Optics on this map it helps tremendously!

Red dragon could you please make a video of the importance of spotting and the abilities of the squad leader, as I think these are very under used and gives a huge advantage to your squad if your leader is pointing out witch bases to attack and defend, also 20 points for following defend and attack squad orders. I love the scout chopper on this map. I always grab it right off, kill the enemy chopper, hover over the enemy's flag and capture it, then slaughter the people that try and retake it. Has to be my favorite vehicle in the whole game.

@lawman2k Stealth plus IR flares. Whenever I get a stinger lock I fly up and launch flares when the missile comes, then follow the trail down to murder the guy who shot it long before he reloads and locks. Works like a charm. But I agree, 99% of chopper pilots are terribly easy to shoot down. It's sad really.

Another basic tip for any new players -- if you hold the majority of the flags, don't worry about capturing the others. HOLD WHAT YOU GOT.

Playing "musical chairs" with the flags is pointless. Like in this video, if you have 2 out of 3 -- defend them & you will win.

@PimpNutz37 i somewhat disagree. a player gets more points by capping the same flags over and over. i've been ace many times, for example, just working back and forth between the B & C flags on Kharg. I take C, they take B. I run back to B, they take C. At 450 a pop, plus the attacker pin(s), it adds up. it's the downside to PTFO. It looks kinda like boosting, but the game's points awards encourages one to attack, rather than defend, flags. I do get your point, tho. it's boring as hell.

Hi Red Dragon. I love BF3 and play it practicably any space time i get. I was wondering if you can do Tut on Bullet drop for the sniper rifles and how to compensate for it. I love playing recon and i mainly use the SV98 with 12x and bi-pod. Also I'm a PC player. Keep up the awesome tip videos because we all love ya. :D

Ok the copper has another really deadly but EXTREMELY HARD advantage. You can fly it in to the tunnel and kill infantry but it take a really skilled pilot to do that.

BFBC2 was my first experience with the battlefield series, but I quit very shortly after playing it to go back to CoD. When the BF3 beta came out, I gave it a shot, and then blew my black ops disc up with a firecracker. I realize I'm not the best BF player, nor will I probably ever be, but not all "CoD players" are going to suck shit at BF. At the same time though, I feel like I've been missing out for 3 years lol, BF is so great, and kinda addictive :P.

Don't take the ability to play the game for granted. Yesterday I encountered the glitch where all of my weapons disappear, so I can no longer do anything other than walk around. There is no fix, and to my knowledge, Dice either isn't aware of this glitch, or is not working on a fix yet.
