this product needs the modem or router left on so that the exchange equipment can get a good idea of when the connection slows down and how much noise is on the line at a certain point, so that it can adjust the signal to noise ratio accordingly.

I need help this makes no sence i got adsl and when i go to DTCCOM website and it said the 45& once i should get 350kb/ second but i only get 70 sometimes 80 what should i do ?

Lol, I work for an ISP as a senior technician and there are a few things missed in this video like virtual paths and the bras profile on the line also if the ISP is VC based or LLU, and how the activation of an adsl package works

Its not a detailed explainination and is only intended for the average joe home user running on a ip-stream max line.

If you started trying to explain BRAS profiles to the average joe it would only drive calls to the ISP's support line.

You should know this from working for an ISP :)

Umm no, 20mb is LLU or ADSL2+ not Max which is 8meg. Trust me on this I've worked in the ADSL industry for too long now.

PLUSNET IS THE SLOWEST INTERNET PROVIDER IN THE UK AND THERE IS just 20GB USAGE LIMIT SO THINK ABOUT PLUSNET.
