All species of Colossoma common in the aquarium trade get much too big for a 75. They would need AT LEAST a 500g. This guy's species, which happens to be the most common one, the black pacu or Tambaqui, Colossoma macropomum, can reach a meter (3.3 ft.) They really shouldn't be kept in aquaria...

75 gallons Should be enuff to hold them. I have 2 oscar's in a 55 gallon tank nearly fully grown too an they have plenty of room to swim around. So 75 gallons will do fine.

The myth of people saying they grow to their tank size is crap. They will Continue to grow as long as the water is healthy and clean. So that tank will be doomed one day

Do you know if a 75 gallon will be big enough for 2 pacu's and 13 inch oscar? I have them in a 55 gallon and i got the pacu's from a friend that couldnt take them but they were like 2 inches at the time and its been 2 months and they are already 5-7 inches. Would they be able to all live in a 75 gallon? It looks like it would be wide enough for them to turn around when they get full grown but im not sure. Please let me know because i dont have room for a 125+ gallon tank.

@SuperWaterfowler10 honestly you have to give them away. Full grown red belly pacus get to 42" and they need humongous tanks ot they get stunted and die. So if you want the fish to die after a couple of years and have a bad life than sure go for it
