this is true goosebumps music. those century old melodies still catch people of today - that is what music is made for. i wonder if somebody will remember britney spears or justin bieber in a hundred years.
@lielopulver well, obviously not. Look at Beethoven - he was DEAF when he wrote most of his music, and he's still a household name centuries later. Everyone can recognize the music to Swan lake or the Nutcracker - even if they're totally ignorant of classical music. Justin Bieber and Britney Spears don't even write their own music or play their own instruments. Modern music can't compare =)
Directly after seeing the film, I ran into a music store and bought the soundtrack..and guess what...it's still the most played on my ipod!(YES I PREFER THE ACTUAL CD, AS APOSSED TO DIGITAL DOWNLOAD)
I wish I had a swith in my head to start that song anytime I want, at the bakery, during an exam, during a jogging, during an explosive poop session. It is so grandio-delusionesque, but so motivating and rousing and brilliant at the same time.
i still remember how hipnotized i was with this final scene, just...paralized. It is the most beautiful end i've ever seen in a movie. Really...this is PERFECTION
TEAR* Even though Nina is a fictional character. She still represents all the young souls out there who have lived similar situations. Nina obviously suffered from a SERIOUS mental disorder. & That's not her fault though. Mental illness just happens. She just wanted to fit in, be accepted & wanted like everyone else & somewhere between it all she lost her fucking mind & was unable to find it. There are "Nina's" (Female or Male) in this world a plenty. It's really heartbreaking. Think about it.

This is one of those movies that make you completely forget who you are when it ends.
Nice but in reality there is no such thing as perfect. If you guys believe in a perfect things than explain why people die and why we are still here? @nilef49 I think that it's just supposed to make her look really, REALLY fit. That, and dancers basically spend in excess of 4 or 5 thousand calories a day just in practice, so it's no surprise they're all INSANELY skinny.
