the song goes perfect with thinking about how we're all growing up over time and getting old, things changing and just life in general and how much time we have here on earth and thinking about what we've done during our time here..we never know when our last day will be...so enjoy everything you have and don't take things for granted, EVER!
I am thinking that this video was shot with a Panosonic DVX100a But I can't really tell with all the filters used in the editing that I think was done in final cut pro... But you never really know these days.
One thing that I love so much about his music is that it's capable of inducing every possible emotion hidden in every dusty corner of my heart. I mean.. fuck. This is just amazing.
that is totally fucking wrong - L O L - just because your an Emo this is considered to be very artistic... sure its a good video but no where-fucking-near the best
Cassadaga was bound to happen after I'm Wide Awake and Digital Ash, Oberst has matured. He's not the same 20 some year old guy. I miss all the music from Fevers and Mirrors and this just as much as the next, don't get me wrong; but you have to have respect for him.
Conor Oberst and The Mystic Valley Band may be his priority now, but Bright Eyes will always mix it up; that's what they're known, partly, for.
cause he already made this music, and cassadaga hadn't been made yet....now that cassadaga's out i guess he'll have to make something else....weird how that works. stranger more is people wanting the same songs over and over with new lyrics....i mean we already have greenday for that.
It's all meant to represent something that you perceive yourself about life or something else in general.
The album's title explains about how we are advancing in all of this technology, that eventually one day we won't do anything for ourselves. We will live with technology always keeping us alive and keeping us happy.
And because of this, we die like a computer virus.
very captivating, your interpretation of the lyrics interestingly manages to connect with everyone regardless of their opinion of song, abstract as it is.
fantastic.

Listen to Cassadaga's lyrics.
They breach out the same meaning.
Cassadaga was bound to happen after I'm Wide Awake and Digital Ash, Oberst has matured. He's not the same 20 some year old guy. I miss all the music from Fevers and Mirrors and this just as much as the next, don't get me wrong; but you have to have respect for him.

its like have you ever heard of jandek, sounds weird yet interesting at first. before you know it youre all into it.
bayemvey 3 years ago 2
It's not really a scary song.
It's basically what the whole title is-
"A Digital Ash in a Digital Urn".
Its all up to you

Something I also got out of the album personally was not to be afraid of death, and know that something always follows what came before it
