Cassadaga was bound to happen after I'm Wide Awake and Digital Ash, Oberst has matured. He's not the same 20 some year old guy. I miss all the music from Fevers and Mirrors and this just as much as the next, don't get me wrong; but you have to have respect for him.

Conor Oberst and The Mystic Valley Band may be his priority now, but Bright Eyes will always mix it up; that's what they're known, partly, for.

It's not really a scary song.

It's basically what the whole title is-

"A Digital Ash in a Digital Urn".

It's all meant to represent something that you perceive yourself about life or something else in general.

The album's title explains about how we are advancing in all of this technology, that eventually one day we won't do anything for ourselves. We will live with technology always keeping us alive and keeping us happy.

And because of this, we die like a computer virus.

Its all up to you
