The backup singers in this case ruin the song, they don't sound good at all. They are not good. On the original song, male vocals do the background including Hadley's voice. On the other hand Pink Floyd used females vocals on their original albums and the girls they have used on tour were for the most part outstanding. These girls with Spandau Ballet were NOT! Hadleys voice was good as ever though!
