Flash photography is very distracting for a performer. I'm a guitar player and people have taken pictures of me with flashes while I was playing, and it was very distracting. I'm impressed by this guy.He didn't even flinch when people took flash photos of him.

I think one of the things I love the most about bluegrass or old-time music is the pulse you get. The bass will be kind of bouncing I guess and the fiddles will be almost swinging....This is really hard to describe. My point is that, although I love Tom Gabel and Against Me, I hate the tempo he plays this song at because it's so bland. There is no dynamic to it. Maybe if he played with a band it'd be different, but for now I'm sticking with Old Crow Medicine Show
