As far as I know I'm going to have to call fake, I just can't see how they can get such detailed models on a engine whats now 1.2 years old. Unless they've updated this. Just gotta wait and see.

@shauny1994 There will be new models even more detailed than this when 1.2 comes out. The engine if you don't know, is ioquake3, therefore it's ages old. However, it's very easy to get these detailed models working fine in it, provided it's low poly. It's mostly the textures doing much of the eyecandy work, the models are very low poly.

@shauny1994 Fake? If you didn't know you can actually change the maximum polycount the engine can take by just altering some cvars. The Quake3 engine is being modded for ages. Some dude actually got real .md5 (IdTech 4 engine model format) models with animation and texture to work. The engine also does support real time shadows (can be altered with /cg_shadows) and bloom. Then there's this Xreal project - full HDR, full real time lighting, bump maps etc.

dude these are really cool concepts. i cannot wait for the real 1.2 to come out so i can use these.

so can you use the dot sights that are on these guns, or not? i think it would be hella cool if you could use the dot sights.

so you can disable the crosshair, and you have to look through the dot sight to aim accurately. it would add a ton of realism, don't you think?

btw i don't think these are fake. i think these are tinnenmannetje's submissions toward 1.2. they're not official yet. amirite?

There is a mod that replaces rifle with M4, MD with sniper, Blaster with Deagle, Grenades with ACTUAL grenades (green ones with pin), Pulse with an SMG and shotgun with a Spas 12. so STFU TINNENMANNETJE as if you fell for this rofl
