Zengar's piloted several mechs. I remember him having the Type-0 Grungust, which didn't have the liquid-metal zankantou-it made do with a sword that was so massive it actually had its own Tesla Drive built in (flight boosters.)

Tesla Drive =/= boosters. A Tesla Drive is what allows Lions, the Weissritter and Dygenguard to fly. The boosters were just... boosters.
