I know I saw Pearl Harbor & The Explosions at The Orpheum Theater in Boston, as the opening act for some band.
It could have been with The Clash, who I saw first at The Harvard Square Theater, with Bo Diddley and a Boston band called The Rentals as opening acts; then twice at The Orpheum Theater (once with The Undertones and Sam & Dave as opening acts, and the third time, I thought, with Lee Dorsey and a band called The B-Sides, which I thought was fronted by super-groupie Bebe Buell).
I was under the impression I could not possibly love the Clash any more than I did two and half minutes ago. This video proved me wrong. Loved it. True, no one sings it like Wanda, but it's still great.

Oh, CONGRATULATIONS to the singer, the band and the uploader for these SO SENSITIVE LYRICS:
WELL I BEEN TO NAGASAKI, HIROSHIMA TOO
THE THINGS I DID TO THEM
BABY I CAN DO TO YOU
WELL I USED TO SAY I'M CRAZY
BOTH DEAF AND DUMB
BUT I CAN CAUSE DESTRUCTION
JUST LIKE AN ATOM BOMB
For pity's sake WAKE UP!!!!

I agree, not half of good as Wanda Jackson's growly version... but a good song is a good song.

The crowds in Tokyo either has a broad sense of humor or they don't know the lyrics... I wouldn't do that tune in Japan.

Paul made a mean rockabilly too, and Joe not too bad. Mick was too glam to pull it off (and later too, uh, wigger?)

oh come on. everyone always gives mick a hard time for being too "pop". i think he pulls it off just fine. he does the solo perfectly fine!

It's ok, but not even close to Wanda Jackson, she can't begin to have the voice that Wanda has.
