I would round up millions of them and take my sweet time killing each and every one of them. its carbon dioxide something that we release when we breathe..something that is released with pretty much everything we do like grills, lawnmowers, cars, etc. why are people freaking out about that. CO2 is taken out of the air by plants a little more caused by this machine won't make a difference. relax.

If a mosquito was suicidal enough to touch the oil, it'd die. They usually won't try though. They can't stand the smell, and pretty much avoid it. Plus, it's plant-based, so you won't make the atmosphere more broken than it already is. AND you won't feel like Hitler.

See? No need for this weird vacuum/death chamber/Crazy Taxi arcade machine hybrid that costs 300 dollars (that you could be using for something you actually need).

if the gas you're using was pulled from the earth where it wasn't in the air then this product is damaging to the environment. period. if it's CO2 taken from the air and then just put back in... well, that would be fine. it looks like this product uses a fossil fuel. Organisms took that CO2 out of the air millions of years ago and so our environment became what it is today... perfect for us. but we're heading it back the other way far faster than nature can take it out. bye bye humans...

CO2 harmful to the environment??? You've got to be kidding! CO2 is what plants breath. More CO2 in the atmosphere causes an environment where plants flourish. The result is more CO2 breathing, O2 releasing plants. There are real environmental concerns that we need to deal with, but Al Gore's 'spin' is a joke. Real (un-manipulated) scientific data is an embarassment to money hungry liers like Gore. Do some research on "climategate"

@jrmyamnda i'm not saying that this product hurts the environment (because i don't know either way) but you're unknowingly passing on a lie. the "More CO2 in the atmosphere causes an environment where plants flourish" myth. and it has to stop because it's a serious threat to our survival as a species.

also there's never been a lack of CO2 from a plant's standpoint. we have destroyed habitat and reduced the plants and other species that take CO2 out of the air. PLEASE look into this.

I'm a biologist...so here's the scoop: CO2 is not "toxic" or you'd be dead right now. You exhale CO2 as part of your metabolic processes - its that CO2 that attracts the mosquitoes. If you were only in CO2 w/o O2 you die because you don't have O2 - not because CO2 is "toxic." CO (carbon monoxide) is toxic because it outcompetes O2 when you breathe, so yo don't get the O2 you need to your cells.

Unfortunately there are specific regulations for these traps in each country that we must follow, and Sri Lanka is not approved at this time. You cannot purchase these traps from the internet as they would be certified in the United States and not have the appropriate plugs & regulators for Sri Lanka.
