  • I love this rendition of Amazing Grace.Just beautiful.

  • lindo de mais arrupiante lindíssimo show sem palavras

  • This Hymn is my all time favorite. I'm not quite sure about anyone else, but I think it truly emphasizes what Christianity/Catholicism really is. We're all in a relationship with Christ and He has blessed us beyond our wildest dreams.

  • 1 person is deaf

    Thank You for posting.

  • Thanks for your comments..

  • I never knew that this was written by a man who was once a slave.

  • @jasongutierr

In my opinion it's beautiful- a man subjected to such pain and misery still has the capability to create a beautiful song.

  • This version with gregorian chants makes me feel like that their will always be happiness in my life.

  • snf snf...........

  • NO! The whole point is that it's NOT religious. Religion involves the ritual practices that go with 'earning' heaven. Amazing Grace is so powerful because it doesn't work on the point system where everyone tries being 'good enough' for heaven... it's Faith. Grace is freely given for anyone to accept. That's what makes it Amazing and even Fearful because it is completely the opposite of what this world offers as revenge, karma, and obligation.

  • @Deneith yes, you have a very interesting point, however I don't think that the fact that grace is given freely, is any excuse not to be a good person. yes people do need faith and grace, but no harm can come from them trying to be good people for god.

  • I feel God's amazing grace as I listen to this chant.

  • What's great is that even as a non-christian, or even a non-religious person period, I can still find so much value within this song. Beauteous.

  • beautiful.

  • Listening to Gregorian Chant - I feel so paceful and so calm. You also get a touch of heaven around you.

  • i'm not Christian but this is beautiful <3

  • extraordinary!

  • It is extraordinary music.

  • not bad ment, this song is beautifull, but amazing grace isn't really a christian song :s it's from the celts ^^" but this version is very catholic =3 i like this one to

  • @YoungerUchihaBrother I just spent the better part of 30 minutes trying to figure out if that was true or not... And it was def not Celtic.

  • Isaiah 19:20 "it will be a sign and witness to the Lord Almighty in the land of Egypt. When they cry out to the Lord because of their oppressors, he will send them a savior and defender, and He will rescue them."

  • peace...Peace...Peace...Peace....n Grace of GOD showering upon us

  • Thank you... That is beautiful...

  • beautiful!!!!!!!!!! soul touching song!!!!

  • @mrartvandelay3000 I surprised you call Jesus "lord or God" when the second commandment clearly states "You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God" and if Jesus did proclaim Godhood doesn't that contradict God's words. Truth is Jesus didn't proclaim it and it was a lie, the christian faith is idolatry.

  • @xuphoriaa - And why would Christians get that idea? Let's have a look: Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:23 both declare, "Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, GOD WITH US." Sounds like Jesus to me.

I Timothy 3:16 says that "GOD WAS MANIFEST IN THE FLESH." Hrrm, sounds like God elected to be born into the human condition. Again, sounds like Jesus.

  • @williamduchene1 John 1:14 says that "THE WORD WAS MADE FLESH, AND DWELT AMOUNG US..." Also interesting. It says that God, or rather the very Word of God, was brought into the human condition, and lived for a period with men. Hey, sounds like Jesus to me again.

Zechariah 12:10, GOD said that HE (God) would be "pierced" by sinners. Very interesting also. Could it possibly mean that he would be raised upon the Cross? You know, being pierced by three nails on one cross and all.

  • @williamduchene1 Revelation 1:7 says that Jesus Christ Himself fulfilled the prophecy of being pierced by sinners.

John 17:5 - "the glory I had with you before the world began." So Christ existed before the world? Hhrrhmmm..

SOunds like Jesus to me. idolatry? I think not.

  • @williamduchene1 they have no idea they're worshiping idols, that's a big and unforgivable sin

  • This is so beautiful. The hour that I first believed was so precious, I'll never forget it.
