@bigbuckslayer4 Yeah, it makes a big hole, but what it lacks is penetration. With such a big peice of lead and such little powder, you have to make your shots prescise. Only good for about 100-130 yards too. I like my Ruger Mach II M77 in .243 a lot better. 8)

Browning-X in .308 with a Leupold 3-9X 40 scope. With the two you can drop it out of a tree stand and it will still be alright, plus with the .308 bullet it has more than enough power to knock down any deer.

I'm not much of a big game hunter,deer mostly. so my 30/30 94 does me proud. But for small game and on the trapline my marlin 81 .22 would be my favorite.

I love the 760 30-06...I've taken Mt. Goat, Moose, Muley, Whitetail, Blacktail, BlackBear and other predators with it.

I love my Dad's 30-30 Win 94...though I have yet to harvest anything with it.

for big game moose andcaribou my favourite is 25-06 remington. for smaller game lynx wolfs e.t.c must be my .17 cal but i just bought a 22 mag so maybe my small game rifle will change shortly. i also have a lever action 30-30 centinnual iron sites with no scope i like it but its def not my fav other then my 25-06 my second fav for big game is my 7 mm rem mag nice rifle.
