I have heard a few of the cornford amps on tube and do not personally like them much.They sound overly saturated and lacking in a roundness of tone to me. Just high gain.

I don't In My Opinion you could buy a Rivera K Tre and it sounds just as good and will rape this amp on high gain all day and can do everything in between.
The K Tre excells at hi gain tones but at lower gain settings its just mediocre. Its impossible to have an amp that can do everything perfectly. The old Knuckleheads had better medium gain tones but they couldn't reach extreme gain.
Yeah that's true but my Mako MAK2 Dorado does it all at low volume, high volume, hign gain and low gain and will crush amp that are twice the money with low end and gain. And the Mako is PTP wired on a 1/8in thick turret board.
You need to check some out, Diezel Herbert, Framus Cobra, Cameron CCM, Bogner Uberschall, Diamond Spec Op. They are all about the same price range except the Herbert and they are all AT LEAST equal to the MAKO at high gain sounds. The point-to -point construction doesn't proove anything, it's just a trick of the ampbuilders to persuade that their products are of high quality. There is no amp able to do it all perfectly, its just a matter of physics
There are guy on the forums selling those amps that you listed just because they prefer the Mako over the brands you listed. And especially for Metal there are only a few amp that would even come close to hanging with that Mako Mak2 Dorado. Framus break down from what I hear they sound good but whats the point if the thing doesn't last long before needing new parts. Just to let you know the guy that I bought my Mako from sold his Diezel Herbert because if wasn't even to being close to the Mako.
There are also people who sell their makos to get other brands. This is all about personal taste. For sure the Makos are of the highest quality as far as construction and components is concerned but the sound they produce is suitable for some and not suitable for others. I'm just saying that you cant say it beats every amp on the planet. It would be better to say you prefer it over other hi end amps but not underestimate their sonical qualities.
Well that's what I was getting at. But you can seriously ask guys that have owned those amps you listed and 99% of them all told me Mako was there one of there top five boutique amps made. That are comparing high gain amps against each other. And I can vouch that Mako Mak2 Dorado that I own will walk all over many amps for Metal tones all day. This guy that lives a hr away from me even said the Bogner Ubershall doesn't even stand a chance in live playing against the Mako and he has owned both.
I agree with most of what you say especially about the fact that some of the amps that don't cost as much as others sound equally if not sometimes better, however the Soldano SLO has a lifetime warranty....LIFETIME...and they are built with literally, "military" grade componets. Having said that, the military would not use just any componet to build their equipment with...or, at least I hope not anyway..lol. You r correct though, none do it all, if they did the rest would go out of business.

@ForViewingOnly The young man is saying he likes fish particularly prawns. However, if he eats prawns while playing guitar through the cornford he immediately evacuates his wonderful meal. The poor man must have irritable bowel syndrome and we sympathise for him.

You have clearly not heard of enough amps.
