my dad had one of these on his air tractor 401! i used to love to hear it start up in the morning. awesome! and i guess ole (dammitdrag) down there thinks that crop dusters are suppose to be pretty. answer is no. its a working airplane.
Let the oil warm up at low RPMs.

release the brakes and push her up to about 35 or 36 inches and when she is off the ground and going good pull back to 30~2000 and ride her out.

Even if it does look ragged, it's beautiful. There's something about rugged utility that makes something beautiful. Plus, the sound is amazing.
