Basic commands are: Come, Go Back, Stop, Fetch-em-up, Get-away-back, Sit, Come Behind, Here. You can add to that commands like directional commands, round, over, out and in.
A lot of people ruin good working dogs by commanding them too much. In trials, people have a command for everything and never shut-up, but if you are out in the paddock mustering a few thousand sheep, it is damn tiring to have to be telling the dog everything. A good dog will work out what to do without being told.
waste of water too

Wow, that's really cool. She seems to be a really smart dog. I like your training method.
It's beyond me how they can remember all the commands so well. how many commands does a shep dog like sprite usually have to know?

we have a kelpie as a family dog and it "rouds up" the other dogs at the park when we take it for walks

Well now... that is an interesting approach.
Looks like some fun too. 5/5

I once tried the 'shotgun method' but I ran out of kelpies before I perfected it...
