I'm a very experienced rider that charges everything from big mountain lines to park and this is by far the best board i have ever been on! As for the durability of the board it's awesome ands seems to suit me just fine. even the rockiest of conditions( aka big sky montana). Just sack up and get a banana!!!!!!!!!!!

@MisTaHTaKi reverse camber depends on what you get an do, i have a crazy rocker board an i can get some really good pop off it.... unless your a n00b, reverse camber is more for jibs an park. get a ride kink, no camber :) i took one out at a demo, like a limp noodle but has some good pop, one of the funnest boards to ride.

all banana's are going to be pretty decent in powder...if you want a truly specialized banana backcountry/pow board check out the TRS or the 1986 snow mullet. the trs will retain a more jibb/freestyle feel.

bananas and rocker boards are NOT park specialized just because you see all the little "Part Dressers" rockin em in the park doesn't mean you know shit about the tech. behind them do some research deeper rocker (that means more) makes riding in powder easier; flotation better; and turns easier

no, skate banana is PARK SPECIALIZED board! Of course, it will work fine anywhere, as most boards do. You can use a backcountry board in the park if you want, it's just not specialized for that purpose.

I'm 5'6" 145-150 lbs. I'm thinking of getting a skate banana 152. I live and ride in Whistler. Will this suffice? I usually ride a 156 or 157. I ride everything but like most I live for pow.

i would never get a akate bannana if u live in whistler. look at something like the rome agent or an all around board that focuses on freestyle. skate bannana is for jibbin.

A 152 should suffice for most days. My bro's about 5'8" 140 and he rode a 152 in Kicking Horse backcountry last year without any problems. Might want to size up a little though.

I'm 6'/220lbs and I had no problems with a 156. You definitely need to size down though -- I went from a Lib Dark 161W.

159 will likely perform better in the pow though.

a 156 banana should do just as well if not better than a 162 in any other board. im 6 ft and i want a versitile board that i can jib with and plow tha pow with so im goin a 156. but if youre gunna be doin a bit more growing than i would get a 159

How's that nana on pow? Not much powder in S Cal, a lot of slush at Bear Mtn, and it just pushes it around, awesome.
